Cove Tavern

Menu is limited. I asked for porterhouse medium but it was dry and overcooked I couldn't eat it.

Very clean and tidy with super friendly and attentive staff. Good meals at reasonable prices and quick service.

This one of our favourite place to come for a meal. The service is very good and the food is very tasty. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

Booked for 7pm. Had to go to the bar to get our order taken. They just ignored the fact that we were sitting there. Waited for 1 hour and 40minutes for 2 half Snitzels lambs fry and a child’s nuggets. Finally ate our meal at 845. And didn’t get our entrees at all. Had to ask 3 times where our meal was. Gave up on the entrees. Got told it would be 10 minutes 45 minutes later it showed up. Was prepared just to get the child’s meal and go with out ours. Know you were busy but the service was disgraceful. Definitely will not be returning. Friday night you think management would put on more staff. Very disappointed.

Oh wow, the bartenders were amazing. Patrick was an absolute stand out. So funny, so kind and just a straight up legend. The food was AMAZING we got the Cove platter and it was SO tasty. The squid and the wings were incredible. Overall such a great experience but Patrick made it that so much better! He was so amazing, thank you for such a fun and memorable night!

Patrick was amazing so much fun behind the bar brought a great vibe. Shared the Cove platter with friends Korean fried chicken was? Highly recommend. Thanks Patrick for a great night

Mothers day dinner on Sunday was delicious, quick service and lovely food. The kids were given activity packs which always makes their day and all mums left with a bunch of flowers.that was a lovely surprise: D Highly recommend for a great meal:)

Bistro seating old looking not nice. Was cold inside, went Saturday night don't know if there's different Cook's on but had chicken schnitzel one side was caked with flour under crumbs, carrots cold, broccoli half raw.not impressed at all wont be going back again either.

Went on a Thursday night for our 1st time
Apparently its table service but its hard to get staff to notice you so we just kept going to the counter to order. Wasn't very busy, the place was just under 1/2 full.

We have some great staff that work there on a Tuesday night. Glad to be going back. After 9 week break

Good service, food was brought out quickly. Was a Tuesday night.cheap schnitzels. Cheap but still good quality!

Great place to eat and Catching up with friends or family and see great bands like full circle.

My family went for dinner on New Years Eve. Unfortunately, the food was very average, and we didn't find the environment very welcoming. The waitress took our plates without asking if we were finished, even though my daughter was still eating her chips. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

Had a schnitzel on a Saturday and it was very good. Went again on a Tuesday evening with the family and not even close to the Saturday standard.

Meals were ok. Haloumi disappointing as battered, chips double cooked, schnitzel ok it was a half but should still look sealed and not a pocket. Lambs fry overcooked. Barramundi was good and so were the kids nuggets.

Had the t bone steak last night 5/6 and it was cooked as asked but some green vegetables would have nice.

We had a good night at the cove but unfortunately the meals were average. I had salt and pepper squid. I thought it was quite salty and I didn't really like the batter. My partner wasn't too impressed with the half schnitzel he ordered - it was very small - maybe a 1/4 of a schnitzel. One of our friends ordered a full schnitzel and it was pretty big. Other friends were pretty happy with their meals so maybe its a bit hit and miss? The staff were friendly and its great to see live music on a Friday night!

It's taken me this long to realise it but you only get a limited number of days as a teenager don't waste it playing games like I did, thanks for the memories guys <3

Had the seniors lunch half beef snitzel salad and chips. Plenty for lunch had room for desert pavlova. All yummy. Reasonable price. Order and pay at counter. Drinks and food brought to table. Staff are lovely. Plates picked up promptly which I liked. Would recommend. Thanks for a nice lunch enjoyed the food and had good company and a laugh, what more do you need.

Nice Tavern. Lots of space and many places around the rooms to interact with. Really enjoyed the Pool table there as it was completely free! You didn’t even have to eat in to play. Really recommend the Cove Tavern for a cheap night out with your friends or significant other. Whether you’re under or over 18!:)
