Jones Group need to sell this pub to someone that will put effort into a much needed renovation and update of facilities.
Had a great griled chicken burger it wae fresh and very nice and very nice chips and a nice lemon Lime bitters.
Used to be our local for many years. We stopped going to the Tavern earlier this year as I felt the meals were becoming ordinary. I am Happy to say after giving another chance it seems the Kitchen has turned around. The Beef Gnocchi was A1 and the Beef Schnitzel was back. Great Recovery
Each of we 3 had a different meal. ALL WERE DELICIOUS Wonderful staff. Thankyou Mignon and Sanela. XX. We will be back. Pls give them a try you won’t be disappointed

I was basically raised here, as you can tell was not a great up bringing you'll understand what I mean if you've ever gone here. SUPER sketchy, terrible food. Granted my opinion may be a bit biased given my despise for Hallet cove. But I mean just to get a simple meal would leave in heart break, tragedy, cardiac arrest of how God awful it is there. So glad I left that toxic relationship and am now growing as a customer discovering restaurants that are of fair better quality and won't leave me crying, scratching at the walls, or shaking on the ground.
Six of us sat in the nook. Good for conversations. Very fine service from the young ladies. Lambs fry a little disappointing, a strange taste. But everyone else was happy, so I kept quiet. A pleasant evening
Friendly staff and great value for money. Service was prompt and professional. Will definitely visit again in the future.
Food was pretty good. My drinks did get messed up and I was given a Sauvignon Blanc instead of a rose' but it was nice any way. Will probably be back!
What a amazing Gun Fire breakfast after Dawn Service at the Cove. Well done to the Chef excellent food fresh and tasty. The service and staff were great. Definitely will go there again and recommend to others.
The Christmas meal this year was very disappointing compared to last year. Courses were smaller and found the main meal average. We were 2 large tables and the food presetnted did not match the numbers on each table. We ran out of most things. I found the service clumsy with drinks being dropped and plates and cutlery the same. Bit of a shambles. Staff however were very pleasant and welcoming.
2023 will see us seek another option as the price we paid did not justify the experience we received.
It's OK use to be very busy years ago but the new shopping centre development made it harder for parking.
Waiting so long just for fish and chips and all of the food is so freezer cold it's not funny. And the adults got their food before kids did and by time the food got here it we had no time to eat!

The Jones group need to sell this pub as they have no real interest in it. The people of the area deserve better. The staff are fantastic and if it wasn’t for them it would be a complete write off
The service was wonderful Tallis the bartender and the waitress with the colourful shirt and braids (sorry I didn't get your name to shout you out) were fantastic and the only reason the review got above a 1 star the food however was bland and tasteless there were 3 tiny pieces of mushroom in all the mushroom gravy and the plate was wet from the freshly microwaved frozen veggies so everything turned soggy. Poor effort.
Casual food but not enough selection. It's nice that they have the regular stuff like a chicken parmi and steak but they aren't much different from any other bistro.
It was a little bit quiet when i was there early in the week. But that gave me the opportunity to explore the bars and menus. Nice cold beers with a good selection of them. The food was very well done at very reasonable prices. I'll be back. The pokies are in a separate area which is good for me as I am not interested in them, win-win.
