Coriole Vineyards reviews
74Gorgeous views, nice environment, great wines and a fully customised experience. All we were looking for in a winery, fantastic job guys!
Positively loved this place! Can’t say anything bad about it. Enjoyed a long lunch with a few of their fantastic grazing boards and a glass of Prosecco. The views here and the vintage vineyard setting transport you straight to Tuscany or some other Old World location. If you’re in the area make a stop!
Went to nieces Wedding. Absolutely stunning venue. Loads of gorgeous fresh flowers in bloom. Views to die for.
Absolutely beautiful setting - a country garden feel with rolling hills surrounding it. Delicious wine teamed with very friendly staff- Grace at the cellar door was kind, fun, genuine and very hospitable! Will definitely be returning!
Wedding Vendor Experience - Incredible staff that were always willing to help. This was one of the best vendor meals I have ever received. The chef came out of the kitchen to check on us and run us through what we were eating. For couples looking for a wedding venue, if your vendors are well looked after, they will help deliver the most incredible day! Thank you Coriole!?
I had my 70th birthday lunch today with a group of 12 friends. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the clever mixing of different flavours and the fresh produce. They happily catered for our dietary needs. The two waitresses were professional and explained the dishes clearly. They were friendly and cheerful and made sure we were comfortable and well cared for. I was most impressed with their attention to detail. I would like to thank the staff at Coriole Winery for making sure I had a very happy birthday. I will highly recommend it to others.
Great setting, staff were friendly and interactive with patrons on each course explaining both the wine and food which we chose the 5 courses for $75 p/p.
Food was served reasonably quickly and was a shared plate per course.
As with these set menu's some courses are great and others are just ok its up to the individuals tastes.
The main course wagyi beef was outstanding especially the eggplant and the jus was delicious!
A lovely day and wpuld consider, a return visit.
We have only visited the vineyard and sampled wines. The vineyard is well looked after and would be a great spot to stop for lunch in the restaurant. The food looked really good from what we saw. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. The wines are very good as well. Bought a mixed box of red as it was too hard to pick. Will return.
We had the most excellent long lunch here last week, the staff were all super friendly, the food was amazing - and great value too. They were also very accommodating by serving us our dessert outside on the terrace as it was such a nice day. The whole place is super picturesque, we could have spent all day here! Will be back for sure
A cosy restaurant experience situated in a beatiful garden beside the Coriole Vineyards. A nourishing and filling set menu with wine pairings. Relaxed, calming, contemporary environment.
Wines: loved the Prosecco, Viano and Sangerviose
Fantastic lunch. We did the 7 course tasting menu which was delicious and the perfect amount of food.
“Thank you for an amazing afternoon, everything was so easy and made our afternoon all the more enjoyable because we didn't have to lift a finger. Food, Wine, Atmosphere and Staff were all fabulous and the live music was great as well. ”
We had a wonderful lunch here, the setting is gorgeous, the food was lovely and the service was spot on. The atmosphere was perfect, both relaxed and classy. We had the chefs selection which I would recommend. Our tasting experience was very good too. Will definitely be back.
Cosy restaurant with a nice touch of greenery below the ceiling and great views. We had the greens, fish and the Creme brûlée to finish. Portion size was medium and food is on the pricier side, but the setting is worth it. We couldn’t see any outdoor restaurant seating when we visited. There is also a small wine tasting room adjacent to the restaurant, and a shop selling local foods (which was unfortunately closed when we visited). Gardens are well maintained and are worth a wander, weather permitting. Plenty of parking on site.
We loved this winery. We were impressed with every one of the wines we tasted and enjoyed the Italian varietals. The young fellow running the tasting did a fabulous job. Extremely knowledgeable and handled a full tasting room with ease and grace (especially considering the power went off and it was a hot day!). Highly recommend stopping here.
One of the worse meals I have had!
7 of us went for the Chief's selection option. The serving were so small everyone left very hungry and the food was very average to say the least. At over $120 a head with drinks, this was an exceptionally poor experience. There are so many better options in McLaren Vale.
I attended an outdoor wedding at Coriole Vineyards on a perfect day with a deep blue sky overhead and wonderful views of McLaren Vale. The locally brewed beers were excellent and the event was handled professionally by the friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointment was that one of the beef dishes was overcooked. However, that you for the great time I had.
Had a great cellar door experience. Fantastic wines with a great variety. Signed up to their wine club with absolutely no pressure other than a great deal 3 times a year. Thanks Tegan, you're a great host and an asset to the winery
Beautiful place. Poor value for money and ok service as long as you don't question anything on your plate!
Stopped in for a quick lunch; staff were friendly and accommodating. Great scenery, good food and wine.
