Coriole Vineyards

This was by far one of my very favourite lunch experience! The setting, gardens, food, staff.everything was spot on! We stopped at Coriole on our way back to Adelaide, didn't have a booking and the manager kindly accommodated a table for us 5. The menu is beautifully designed, and yes it is a set menu (all the guests at the table need to agree on one) but this is clearly not uncommon in the winery world!

We chose this venue for lunch as we were planning to be in the area to watch some of the Tour Down Under event. I was impressed to receive a call the day before letting me know the road closures could make getting there difficult, so allow plenty of time (which we did). The winery is so pretty! The gardens and the restaurant each boasting picturesque settings to enjoy a meal. Our set menu was very good, our favourite dish being the gnocchi with fermented chilli and 'nduja. We also enjoyed some interesting aged wines, one bottle from the list and then had fun choosing another from the cellar. What made our experience extra special was Sarah's wonderful service, she was warm, friendly and helpful throughout our entire meal and made sure we were never left waiting or looking for anything.

Excellent attention to diners and their needs, delicious food, great atmosphere in idyllic setting. Perfect spot for a birthday celebration. Thank you!

We dined here today for lunch as a trio! It was such a delightful lunch. The food we had was beautiful. We had the $80 chef selection menu. We arrived earlier for tastings…and purchased our wines to go after our lunch. The venue is immaculate…green grass, gardens and an all round great vibe. We will most definitely be returning soon.

Another fantastic meal, in tranquil surroundings. Great culinary feel in the kitchen - exciting yet balanced dishes - and exemplary front-of-house style. Totally relaxing and away from those who must photograph everything they eat!

A fabulous winery and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and and attentive without going over aboard. The food was fantastic and the accompanying Coriole Wine Sangiovese was just perfect.

I hadn't been here since 1986. The ladies at the Cellar Door could not have been friendlier. The wines are still fabulous too.

I did a Winery tour and got to Coriole. I AM coming back to this place. From the moment I was greeted by Jane in the garden, they knew who I was and was super accommodating. My partner and I had the $80 pp plates with the wine pairings and it was soo worth it, I highly recommend to anyone and everyone. It's a set menu and if you don't like a particular food in general and they serve it here, Absolutely give it a try. My partner hates fish and liked the fish they served. Coriole was my favourite, Jane provided the best service and definately felt like a real person you can have a conversation with and not someone on auto pilot. I felt like such a fish out of water when I got there, as it was quite a fancy place but they made me feel very comfortable and at ease the whole time.

Went for a lunch on a rainy Sunday recently and had the most beautiful meal. Had my folks visiting from from the UK and they also commented how lovely all the food and the staff were. Couldn't fault it! Looking forward to returning soon.

An extremely bad experience! First of all, there are only two choices regarding the dishes, the $80 per person set menu, and the $95 per person set menu. There were four of us, three of us wanted to choose the $80 per person set menu and one wanted to choose the $95 per person set menu. We were told we can't do that. Because the chef does not make food for one person, we must all order the same dishes, and then the chef will make the dishes for four people and we will distribute them ourselves.
It was very hard to understand but we were forced to accept it. But I didn't expect that the portions of the dishes were so small that it was unbelievable! We only got two small slices of beef each! Two small slices! This is the first time I, spent 80 dollars for lunch and I was still hungry when it finished.
After confirming with the manager the manager indicated that this is the normal portion size, one person, two small slices of beef.

Sensational service, incredible location in an devine setting with wonderful outlook, intimate but casual dining that produced simple, tasty, delicious food, paired beautifully with exquisite wines. Can’t fault. Highly recommend.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of South Australia I spent a day exploring the lovely Mclaren Vale area, this was my first stop for the day and they used some unique grape varieties in their range that have created some lovely wines.

Outstanding service, feed me lunch was delicious, would highly recommend. Magical views over the vineyards.

Had lunch today with my husband to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary. Welcome and service couldn't be faulted. Food excellent although small choice, 4 mains, and 1 dessert and a cheese option. Would recommend.

We had an amazing lunch sitting by the fire at Coriole today. I loved every dish - thoughtful, delicious and layered with lots of flavours and textures. Beautiful wine and the best service.

Superb wine and food experience. Dropped in for lunch on a Thursday. Very accommodating staff very eager to please. Menu is a choice of 5 or 7 course set, or share plates. The food is absolutely the best quality. For a relaxed dining experience on a sunny autumn's day, it was define. Staff were awesome, and we just soaked it up. Had a fabulous time!

Cellar door employee is not being helpful at all. We had to ask twice about the tasting note before she eventually brought it out and asked us to read it ourselves. Especially winery charges tasting for 15 dollars per person, we didn’t get to taste all the wine on thee list or learn anything about the special of the winery. It's a pity, because the venue is so lovely. Totally disappointed.

The lunch tasting menu was truly to die for! Incredible food, so much we were full leaving and it was paired perfectly with their gorgeous wines. Do yourself a favour and eat here for lunch. View and restaurant is just stunning, service was great too.
