Coffin Bay National Park reviews
33Spectacular. Definately worth the trip. Plenty to see with a non-4x4 but definately would need a propper 4x4 for the full experience.
COFFIN BAY. WOW! Just so AWESOME. The fresh seafood (OYSTERS) JUST YUMMY. MMMM
THE SCENERY THE SANDHILLS GREAT.
Couldn't find a spot. Very annoying when you have to drive all the way in before you realise the spots that are vacant won't hold a van. There should be a site map online with more information
Spectacular! This is the second time we have visited with our family. If you enjoy 4wheel driving, fishing, sandboarding and swimming then this is the place for you.
Amazing national Park! A really nicely set out park with plenty of stops along the way.
Great access to the beach. Most of the park has dirt and sand tracks so 4wd is required to access most locations, well worth spending a few days exploring as a local told me.
Coffin Bay National Park is sensational! The beaches all along the coast of the point are really nice, and you can generally find a beach to go to what ever the weather is doing. Good 4x4 driving, good camping and there are long drops at most camp sites. Really nice scenic and fun place to go for either a day trip or Lo g stay.
Not worth going there to catch salmon, there's none they have been wiped out by trawlers working for cray fishermen. And how dumb is that they trawled all the salmon while breeding before they could spawn future salmon that is why there is a fish crisis here same for the snapper.
A great wild coast with calm inlets the other side of the sand dunes good national parks camping ground.
What a truly amazing place. The roads were fantastic and the views were breathtaking. Keep am eye out for the emus though while driving
Fantastic, views and beaches on the point were awesome. Would have liked to explore the sand dunes more, they looked awesome also, but we were travelling alone.
Experienced campers only! But amazing place to stay. There were many bees while we were there, so consider that, if you don't like them, or have an allergy. We worked out how to live with them, but they were everywhere and over everything. My partner spat one out of his mouth after having drunk it. I had looked online for any bugs to be aware of but no-one had posted anything about any kind of bug. They're not always around, but in the hot weather they are there and they want your water, drinks or anything. You can provide them with a water supply away from your site, ie a tub of water, and you need to rinse anything sugary. Also cover anything wet. Still, I would say I'd rather camp with the bees at coffin bay over camping with the march flies at Tom Groggin! Those buggers just want you, bees just want to hang out with you.
Amazing beaches and heaps of sea life. The camp sites at Black Springs are good. Only some shade in some of the sites but and it gets really hot in summer. Black Springs is 4x4 access only.
Beautiful park, stunning coastal views. Buy a pass from beachcomber as the online site can be difficult.
