So much history behind one ship! This was an impromptu stop for us but so glad we found it. We took a tour led by Peter, who was fantastic and provided tons of information about the history of the ship and how it came be rescued. Definitely recommend seeing the ship and I can’t wait for all the plans for Seaport Village to come together! Wishing you guys the best:)

Went to a fundraising info night. Was much smaller than is imagined. I would totally recommend for everyone to visit whilst it is NOT restored as yet. Great textures and surfaces of materials. Very interesting. Great vibe the volunteers bring too

If you haven't already been able to check the Clipper Ship I highly recommend to check it out. One of the most interesting tours I had. Very knowledgeable volunteers will guide you through it. It is still being restored but theirs plans are great and hope that it will be finished soon.

Fabulous experience! Our tour guide Robert was extremely informative and very interesting to learn about the history behind the City of Adelaide. Highly recommend! Run by volunteers and all proceeds go back to the ship!

While I wasn't able to take a tour, the volunteers are to be commended for the scale of work that they have done restoring this vessel

If you get a chance just go and have a look. Amazing considering it was built in 1864. It's a lot bigger than expected but it would be cramped with 300 passengers on board:)

Really interesting tour, great guides and passionate about this really amazing part of South Australian history. We (2 adults & 3 kids under 7 years old) had a great time. They got us through a tour in about 40 mins which was perfect for us! Could easily enjoy more time if you have it.

The City of Adelaide clipper ship is a unique ship. Is is well worth the visit. The volunteers who run the ship are well informed and they give a full history of the from its rescue from Scotland to its current home in Port Adelaide. The ship is located at Dock 2, Honey Street, Port Adelaide.

Having been born in Tyneside (she was built in Sunderland), lived for 38 years in Glasgow (where I remember her as the Carrick) and visiting Adelaide this trip was a must see! Hope the restoration progresses well and she deserves more support and funding.

A wonderful piece of history getting restored by wonderful people volunteering their knowledge and hands to get this ship where so many migrants to South Australia arrived on and with so much stories back to glory.

Go there for a tour at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and hear the stories of her journey, learn of the cows and other animals on board, hear of the time when it was a hospital ship, and much more and with luck you are there at the same time as the descendants of the first master of the ship.

The entry fee was well worth it. (it helps fund the restoration) you get to look over the Clipped inside and around it. Lots of photos and interesting information about the various voyages it had. How it lost its rudder at sea. It's change of name and use and it's eventual sale to this group.

Lots of history here linking for our family both Scotland and Adelaide. Staff are very knowledgeable and the restorations are looking good. Lovely little gift shop with unusual keepsakes Hope I'll get to see it when it's finished

The tour was led by a passionate guide who shared the story of the relocation and slow restoration of an integral part of South Australia's history.

A very interesting place, the volunteer on site was very helpful and provided a lot of background to the exhibit, they need assistance to complete the work and the ship needs to be shown as it once was. The SA government should assist them.
