Clay & Coal Indian Restaurant

The service was good although they hovered a bit which was a little annoying. However the food is great, lots of flavour, cooked really well. I'll certainly be back.

A year or so down the track and can still recommend.

The food is excellent! The friendly staff and excellent service make you feel welcome. This is a great restaurant. Even the bathrooms are clean and tidy.

Excellent food and great service. My partner and I both ordered the share plates for one (an excellent idea so that you can try a little bit of everything). We were both very impressed with the price, serving size and of course the taste of the dishes. Will definitely be coming back to eat again!

It was the best. Everything about it was amazing. The food was great, the staff were great and how the place was set out was great.

Decided to eat in the restaurant instead of buying takeaway. Main course curries were lukewarm and response from staff member to our polite feedback on this was to become defensive and sullen. Sadly won't be going back there if this is their response.

First time and will be my last time. The special for the day had so much salt in it, was unpalatable. The rest of what we ordered was below average for the price. They may have had an off day, but first impressions count!

The name of this place justified the taste of the food, though both "Clay" and "Coal" still have better uses.

Great spices without all the ghee that can sometimes make Indian too rich and palate fatiguing. Eat in and try the fish basil curry from the specials, but make sure you have plenty of naan to wipe the bowl clean. It's irresistible.
