Absolutely amazing, place is beautiful and staff is friendly, food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back.thisrestaursnt has high standard food quality definately this is a best Indian restaurant in this zone

Awesome food and great hospitality must try this Indian restaurant for Goat curry, prawn basil curry, cheese nan, and gulab jamun. In a group of 10 people, we had dinner here last Wednesday house was full despite the weekdays. The staff was very attentive and polite. One of the best Indian restaurants in South Australia. Highly recommendable.

We used Clay and Coal to supply lunch for our team building day. We have used them before as we know the food is always delicious. The food we ordered was delivered to our door, on time, hot and in large pots for ease of serving. There was a variety of food to suit everyone. Our staff were well fed and extremely happy.

Had an entree, a salad, white wine, and a desert. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I definitely need to come back for a main meal.

Another good local; never had a meal I wasn’t happy with. The owner/family are very friendly and take good care of you.

I have been coming here regularly for several years but never again. The quality of food is declining rapidly and the staff are incredibly rude.

Hit and Miss. I would give 2.5 stars, but the head mistreess just outright lied for the second time. 'The chicken in your butter chicken you ordered was done on the Tandoor and is always done on the Tandoor. ' Now I may not have an Indian name but I am no fool. Last time for me

Lamb very dry.egg plant couldn't eat. Not authentic.very disappointing. Will not recommend to anyone. Paid over $70 and left hungry.

We have been coming to Clay and Coal for many years now either for take away or to eat in. The food is always really fresh and really tasty. We highly recommend this restaurant. Staff are always pleasant too.

Always delicious, proper indian food. The halwa subji is a delicious dish I've never seen elsewhere. Also recommend the butter chicken which has a lovely smoky flavour.

Have never had a bad meal here. Everything is delicious and there are good vegetarian and vegan options. Recommended!
