CIBO Espresso reviews
40 Staff here are lazy rude and definitely think you need to look at hiring new staff
Especially replace the ones that are on today at least
Tables are dirty clearly no one had been sitting there for quite sometime and not one staff member has been out to clear the tables.
Staff would rather stand behind the counter and gossip than assist you.
Don’t recommend this place at all.
I feel sorry for the owners having these kind of hospitality workers on your staffing.
Iced mocha tasted bitter and very watery and carrot cake was dry and horrible
Haven't been here for a while as the last few coffees were average, but.today whoever made the coffee at 2.50pm, made it sooo good! Thanks. Best coffee in a while.
If I could give a minus I would. It doesn't seem the owner answers any of the reviews which makes you wonder why? Yesterday ordered 2 large coffees take away. 11am not busy but we still waited 19 mins for them. And unfortunately for us they weren't that nice. So if anyone needs to catch a bus, on a break or just has time constraints please don't bother them.
Spinach and ricotta pie to die for. Cupachinno with hazel nut. Good way to start the day. Thank you
Nice cafe on O’Connell Street in the North Adelaide. Waiting time is 10 minutes or more. Cafe was clean and tidy. They have dine in and take away facilities and also outside seating area. There was only 2 baristas serving customers no assistant hand to help with order. Moreover, they were only looking after regular customers, I observed two people came after me and staff prepared orders for them first, skipped my order when I ask they just replied with ‘Sorry! We forgot to prepare your order’. My recommendation is to hire more 2 people for smooth service. Food quality was good including, packaging material.
I waited 20 mins.for my coffee. Other customers who came in after me received their order before me.
I told a staff member that he could have mine and I walked out.
Pretty poor effort.
Every time i come here the vanilla chai latte seems to get worse worse. This time it just tasted like warm milk.
Coffee was a touch burnt today normally it is fine. I guess everyone has their off days including baristas. Customer service was exceptional as always.
Worst Cibo for customer service. Appalling. My local is Norwood and their service is five star in comparison.
Rude & terrible service didn’t take my coffee order properly & then wanted to argue with me about it.
Good place to stop in for a coffee or ice chocolate.
Very well presented
Friendly staff
Cibo North Adelaide The girl this morning was giving me some filthy looks, not friendly at all… wouldn’t want her representing my company
Staff were friendly and greeted every customer with a small.
Service was extremely slow, very understaffed and long wait times on all orders.
I waited 20 minutes for ONE take away coffee.
I know it's a coffee shop/ tea, coffee and all it's different types but it amazes me that on the menu there is no cool drinks except one's that involve milk. No juices, soft drinks. Not everyone drinks hot drinks and milk drinks on a hot humid day is certainly not thirst quenching. Every type of drink should be available. Anyway apart from that, the place was nice, loved the photographs on the walls and the atmosphere was good.
We liked the layout of the cafe however the girl whom served us looked like she was not happy being there. Iced coffee was good and the banana bread I had was one of the best yet! My husband’s cheesecake was nice. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Toilets available. Not a big selection of foods.
All the staff are great except the manager. She puts in the sugar and doesn't stir it, which is annoying because you cant get utensils to stir it yourself because of covid. You finish the coffee and all the sugar is down the bottom. It just doesnt bother her at all that its not how you like it. This really comes across in her tone. No sugar for you!
Shocking service. Man serving me was very rude. Wouldn't go back and would recommend that grab your coffee elsewhere.
Have found that the quality of Cibo baristas can often vary at other locations but i have never had a bad coffee from Cibo O'Connell st!
Took food off shelf before they even closed. So was not able to order. Had to wait for the rest of the group to finish there coffee and cake before we could leave and go somewhere else.
The coffee was really good but unfortunately my brioche bun, although tasty was cold in the middle. I asked them to toast it but it didn't warm all the way through. Was a bit scared in eating it. I had a bite and gave the rest to my partner. Like I said, it did taste really good, just wasn't warm enough for me, don't like eating warm to cold food.
