Charminar reviews
64I visited for the first time tonight and was impressed by the portion sizes of the mains and rice. The flavour of the beef korma was wonderful and also the butter chicken. Although the store was busy, food was brought out quite fast and excellent service from the staff members.
We arrived 1/2 hr before opening time on a Sunday (lunch) waitress opened the door and invited us in
very attentive and pleasant, other guests for a function started to arrive, our service was efficient friendly and prompt, food was tasty and good value, generous serves (two items of the lunch menu
plus sides).
Was a good restaurant now a cafeteria no table clothes. Toilets vary dirty. It has been two years since I was here last. Might be two before I go back.
Had lunch here today with a friend and it was lovely. Smaller serves than at dinner but at reduced prices so great value for money. The Chicken Korma was delicious as was the naan bread. My friend had the dahl which she really enjoyed and with naan bread and a drink, it was still under $20.
Dishes were tasty and plenty! The vegetable samosa starter was OK but no more, but chicken madras and fish curry were enjoyable with naan and rice. Staff were super attentive!
Sat I'm there.waited over 20 minutes.didn't get asked for drinks or being served.saw 3 groups come in later and being served. Extremely disappointed
Great staff and service; if you don't like/can't have tumeric, literally every meat/vegetable dish has it, so you're stuck with the sides. Recommend the cheese naan.
I came here on Pokemon go expecting a Charminar, but none showed up! This owuld be 0 stars but i found a wife
We both enjoyed our meals yet again, and Taylor's service was much better than we usually experience at other restaurants.
Quick turn around once order is placed. Pleasant service all round. Place is clean and food is good.
We really enjoyed eating here, food was really delicious, staff attentive, BYO wine was just $10 corkage.
Waitress advised they have a new menu and new cook. Dissapointing, now only 5 small prawns, (previously 10) in a bowl of the Goan curry sauce. Food in general is OK but new menu/cook doesn't compare to previous.
One of my favourite lunch destinations. Great value for the price. Friendly and hospitable staff, food fresh and delicious. Restaurant clean and tidy, well presented.
Food is always delicious and staff went above and beyond to help celebrate dad's birthday last time we went:)
Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. The garlic naan has real garlic paste on it. The vindaloo has slices of spring onion to compliment the flavour. The only downside is the mango lassi had too much ice in it which diluted the flavour.
Love going to this restaurant as it is always good! Upon arriving home from a very long international flight we had dinner here the other night and the food was sensational. We have been here to eat three times in the past year and are always extremely pleased with whatever we order. Service is friendly and prompt, nice atmosphere. Great place to eat if you like Indian food.
As usual the food and service was excellent - always can rely on this restaurant to be consistently good
Wonderful Indian curries. Have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the food. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is cosy and warm.
Even the food that isn't on the menu is awesome. Definitely visiting again.
One of the few places I've been that know how to cook Chana Masala in a way that the chick peas turn to little balls of pure melting lusciousness. So Devine.
Very happy with our visit. The prices were well within our budget and the wait was very reasonable and most certainly worth the wait.
Can't wait to return for more.
Small tip.put the chick pea dish on the menu:)
