Food quality was 8/10. We ordered paneer tikka and jalfrezi mix veg curry.
Paneer tikka was good, but jalfrezi was not upto the marks. Vegetable portions were so big in size, had to cut that before being put on the nan bread.

At the end they treated our kids with complimentary mango lassi, which is a great gesture.

Service/staff is very polite and understanding, Had issues with a take away order but they were more than accommodating and courteous. Highly recommended!

Visited the restraunt today. Very disappointed with their service and attitude. The lady who was in the counter seemed to be rude.

We had dinner over there. Food was mediocre. Chicken was undercooked and the taste was also not up to the level.

Excellent experience good food, lovely lady taking the order. We had the Kashmiri Chicken which was perfect.

Local go-to for a decent Indian curry. Great value, and even better food Seamless pick-up and always ready when they say it will be.

Brighton store. Takeaway bag broke just outside the door, and the food went everywhere. Nothing could be salvaged. Back in store, we were told we would have to pay again if we wanted to re-order, but that we would be given something complimentary. We decided to go elsewhere and we won't be back again. Missed opportunity there.

I had an 80th birthday celebration recently at Charminar, Brighton and I could not fault it, service was excellent, food 10 out of 10, everything we asked for was no trouble and the celebration went off without a hitch. I thank all the staff for such a memorable celebration. I have also eaten here many times before this and each time it has been fabulous. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

This place does awsome food. The problem is when I order a takeaway and they tell me 30 minutes but I'm still waiting after 50 minutes. I cannot accept this. They even gave me a free beer because they know it won't be ready on time. I just don't understand why they can't tell me the truth when I ordered.

I regularly order from Uber Eats and unfortunately the driver stole my food. I contacted Uber to no avail and was ultimately not refunded.

I contacted the restaurant to let them know of my issue. Whilst it w the restaurant’s fault, the manager took complete ownership of the issue and was able to resolve my concerns.

Food and service was a 10/10, if i had my time again, i’d avoid ordering through Uber as food theft is becoming a real issue. I will be coming back again and will be ordering pick up from now on.

Food is not too bad. Menu varieties are good.
Customer care can be improved.
Toilet are need a thorough clean.

A lot of waiting while the restaurant is not even busy, don’t know why but they should really work on there waiting time period, at least should put 2 employees at counter too, only one employee taking care of customers at table and on counter as well and making drinks.

The Goat saag was exceptional, the Dahl Makani had some of the best masala I've had in Australia.

Normally great food but over the last few months it has gone down hill. I ordered takeout for Father’s Day it said 40 minutes. When I got there I waited for over 1 hour for my food. Uber orders where getting done first. The food was not hot, the butter chicken had no taste. Won’t be going back even though this has been our regular restaurant for the last 5+ years

Terrible service with waiting time over 1 hour. Took 30 minutes to serve plates on the table and started the waiting game. We end up leaving, only paid for the drinks as food was no near ready and we were starving. Not recommend.

5 yums from me and the wife. We are big veggies so to have at least 12 dishes to choose from was outstanding for a Sa, restaurant. Food is above delicious, just can't wait to eat what we brought home. Faultless service and more to the point the best vegetarian Indian food in Adelaide. Be back soon.

Since when malai kofta has curry leaves? Gravy is blended tomatoes not even cooked enough, still has sour flavour, the food conflicts the menu description which is provided. Really really bad, Not worth it, please let your chef know that you have to cook the tomatoes long enough so to get rid of bitterness, really really bad food, all these 5 star ratings are obv fake or from people who don’t know Indian food, you could have done better by reheating the pre cooked meals.

Have eaten in and had take-away many times. However with the advent of all the delivery options now available, I am just about done with Charminar. Ordered take-away last night (which I always pick up myself), and was told it would be ready in 10 - 15 minutes. Getting there 15 mins.later, the pick up area was packed with people waiting for their orders. Mine eventually came after waiting a further 20 mins. Firstly they forgot to include my naan bread and just caught me in time as I was driving out of the carpark. When I got home which is only three minutes away, some of the food was already cold and required re-heating in the microwave.
My advice for the operators, if the restaurant is very busy with pick-ups, don't tell people to come in 15 minutes, if it is going to be 35 mins. Most annoying!

I have had better versions of same food in other restaurants in adelaide. Not impressed with quality and taste. Rushed service.

Fresh food and cooked well.
