Charcoal Pit are da bomb! Their ABs are amazing, every single time! Awesome staff, awesome service, always helpful and friendly. 2 years in and I'll never go anywhere else

Bought a chicken and what I saw in the cabinet were fresh roasted potatoes. But when I got home I noticed I got old wrinkled left overs. Wouldn't bother putting a review but when the owner is rude and brushed it off I have to make sure no one else gets the same treatment. Business success is based on customer service and word of mouth endorsement, something the owners should take on board. Thought I would give them a try and support local but never again! Almost $19.00, as I wanted gravy.looks nice, chicken looks toasted.
Very stingy but nice chips, which is a pet hate when chips are certainly an affordable pack element. Chicken dry and over cooked, my teeth hurt just trying to bite the overcooked crustifed crucified chicken. Certainly not succulent and not juicy, Salads nice.
I would probably drive a bit further next time. Better quality and quantity elsewhere. Very disappointing.

I've been wanting to duck past for a few months now, now I have im disappointed I hadn't sooner. Store was clean, staff were friendly, covid mandates were ok for most, good selection of food. The wraps personally seemed a tiny bit too big for the yiros's which took the flavour away from the tasty meat and the chips could of been crispier but a tiny alteration would make this place almost unbeatable in the area.

Prices displayed varied with upgrades stuck on cardboard, they made an error in order then were arrogant about it staff need a lesson in customer service

Having seen the good reviews, it was decided to test out this cool looking venue. Located in Findon shopping centre, this is a truely excellent chicken shop.

Two of us decided that we wanted a huge protein feast. We had a chicken (halved), 2 grilled barramundi fillets and three trays of yiros chicken, pork and lamb.

Take out or dine in options. The food here is amazing. Nice clean shop premises and the helpful friendly.

Lives up to rating and expectations.

Steer clear of the beef schnitty burgers. Small schnitzel, way way over salted. No sauce, couple blobs of mayo. Bun was good.
It's a pitty, 'coz it had potential, but let down by the average schnitzel.
Wish I got a yiros as they have good ratings.

Best Yiros, chicken and lamb yiros is so juicy and flavored well. The pita bread is cooked to a great standard and nice and soft.

The service is great and the customer service was great.
Could tell it was a family business.
The yiros is just AMAZING and the chips is to die for.
I swear this is the best YIROS IN ADELAIDE!

Nice service, Good prices. The only complain I have is the price of gravy. $1 to get it drizzled over the chips but $4.50 to get a small tub of it, which is ridiculous. I'll definitely go back but will not get that gravy again. Team if you are reading this please reconsider your price to around $2.50 - $3.

I've found it hard lately to find a nice tasty and juicy chicken, but I bought a chicken from here and was very satisfied with the flavor and tenderness of the chicken. This place deserves a higher rating than the Chicken Cave around the corner on Tapleys Hill Rd Fulham Gardens.

Overpriced, asked for chips upon arrival, served fries.
Medium bag smaller than my hand. Not recommending this place.

They sell rotisserie chicken with stuffing and call it charcoal chicken. You can buy their 'charcoal chicken' from Coles next door for half the price.

Edit: Went back to their store. They insisted it was charcoal chicken and pointed at the chicken cooking on a rotisserie. I don't think they knew what a rotisserie was, they told me they were all out of the 'other kind' of charcoal chicken. They gave me a refund, initially for $15, then for the right amount. The entire time they were pretending I did something wrong and told me never to return. Lol

Ordered a charcoal chicken and was given a fatty roast chicken with stuffing like from the supermarket. They were more interested in keeping $17 than providing good customer service. Getting a refund was painful but worth it on principle. Their Zomato review (3/5) is more accurate.

I ordered the chicken schnitzel burger and chips and I don't recommend either. The chicken in the burger was small and only covered half the bun. The chicken coating is greasy, yes it's deep fried but there are ways to deep fry and not make it feel greasy. The chips are ok at first but don't remain crispy long. The cost of the burger and small chips here cost more than burger+small chips+drink at other places. I think they might be better at other items on the menu.

Finally found a Greek takeaway joint that serves amazing pork, beef and chicken gyros. I have been visiting Charcoal Pit Findon for the last 3 months as their food tastes amazing. Definitely recommend getting a combo, their chips are crunchy which is something I always look forward to and their pita bread is really good as well. Their salad and dip range is great as well. I Highly recommend you check this place out.

Had the Greek pita. Was fantastic. Great flavour in the meat and the pita itself was amazing. Will definitely be returning in the future
