My favourite local take away. Food is so fresh and tasty. Customer service is great! And very reasonable prices. I am a regular customer, and for obvious reasons!

Decided to go again, as last time, the food was excellent, this time, I was disappointed as the meat was dry and had no flavour, needed more herbs and spices, I got the Yiros plate for 2. Lady gave it to me in a paper bag, went home and opened it, discovered that the salad and tzatziki were missing,

Had a tasty fish burger very recently, from past experience there chips were great with excellent service, next will be a yiros, I'm told they are very good, Cheers.

Fantastic selection of charcoal-grilled chicken and delicious yiros and falafel along with an exceptional range of salads that perfectly complement.

The food here is outstanding! The Charcoal Pit's commitment to quality was evident in every item we ordered.

But the surprises didn't end there! Their homemade sweets are an absolute treat that you just can't miss. I highly recommend trying the rice pudding, best I’ve ever had.

PSA - don’t leave without getting a dessert!

I woke up thinking about how good my dinner was last night so I am compelled to spread the good word right now. Ordered a couple of ABs expecting/fearing bog standard but to my! Relief! The chips were cooked and seasoned to perfection, chicken was delicious - not gamy or dry and just the right amount of sauce drizzle. The ratios and flavours were all working together in perfect harmony, which is so rare in my personal history with ABs. Will definitely be a return customer. Keep up the delicious work CP!

Best yiros so far from adelaide. Lots of meat unlike other other places, which is a great value. Love it.

Steer clear of the beef schnitty burgers. Small schnitzel, way way over salted. No sauce, couple blobs of mayo. Bun was good.
It's a pitty, 'coz it had potential, but let down by the average schnitzel.
Wish I got a yiros as they have good ratings.

EDIT: i moved to the area for a couple weeks and tried this place again. My last rating was unfair. This place is very good and everything i had recently was excellent. Especilly the schnitty packs. Service is also second to none.

Just got a combo yiros from here, one of the best yiros I've had in a long time, fresh ingredients. Can't beat that charcoal flavour, smashed it down it didn't even hit the sides.

My family and I have been few times at Charcoal Pit now and we can definitely say it’s one of the best place we have eaten. High quality meat (lamb and chicken my favourite) delicious salads (best tabouli ever) and outstanding chips. We also tried the falafel wrap for the kids and they were very very happy.
Also, staff members are super friendly, professional and always welcoming (even when they are super busy and under pressure)
Highly recommended!

I literally ran in 15 minutes before they were closing on a Sunday night and I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcomed and more comfortable, not only is their food AMAZING but so is their service, I also work in hospitality so I know how tiring the days can get, NOTHING was too much trouble! I can’t recommend the charcoal pit enough not only for their delicious food but for their wonderful service

Have been coming here for years, and in all that time the quality of food has been amazing! I often get a combo yiros, and oh my goodness it is A M A Z I N G! Not to mention their chips! Fresh, crispy, hot and good amount of salt! Mouth watering!

They have a ticket system, so you don't have to worry about not hearing your order. They will just yell out your number, and you're on your way!

Store is always clean and lots of staff on!

Do yourself a favor and get to Charcoal Pit Findon for their yiros and chips!

Best yiros by far! Meat is so authentic and staff are so genuine and lovely. Definitely recommend stopping by here, it’s worth it!

Would be my regular go to if I lived closer. Always a smile on the staffs faces, solid banter. It’s always a good laugh stopping in and picking up a feed from these folks ️

Visited here for some dinner after a visit to the beach, lovely new owners great service and awesome food. Highly recommend you check it out.

Firstly the food was perfection, amazing chippies, hot dog with the lot YUM! And chicko roll with the perfect amount of salt. As amazing as that all was it was not the best part, the best part was the combination of perfectly happy people who all went out of their way to feed us as we turned up just as they were turning the open sign to closed. The beautiful young man who turned the sign and must have seen my sad face didn’t turn around and ignore me so he could get home on a Saturday night, instead he (I’m guessing this part) turned to his co workers and boss and said oh no! Sad hungry people out there, can we feed them even though we are closed? Then out comes who I assume is the owner who runs over to us in the carpark and says we will feed you, what would you like? YAY! Inside we are invited to witness at least 7 people happily working turning everything back on to cook us our dinner. Bunch of legends here that are obviously respected by their boss and enjoy being kind good people
Oh and the food was 10/10!

Came in with my partner who was craving a good lamb yiros. Did not disappoint. Both the lamb and chicken meat was deliciously tender with the chips and tzatziki complimenting the pita.will be returning soon for sure.

$8.50 for a Medium chips that only fed two people is a rip off.

Comparable to Fulham Chicken shop $8.50 will feed an army.

Won’t be lazy and take the 5 min extra drive next time.

Phenomenal customer service and such delicious food that's generous with their servings! Tasty and affordable so I'll definitely be back!
