Nice grounds. The cost to see inside is a bit steep of u r family of 4 or more. $17 each. But for a nice picnic on the grounds r free.

Great food amazing place especially the fairy tale walk, the gardens are great and it looks good some of the things in the fairy tale walk could use some maintenance like the Red bridge and the elephant the inside of the house is worth visiting too.

This is one of the most beautiful places in South Australia. You get to see an evidence of outstanding British architecture!

A must visit place. The estate is huge, and it was nice to learn the history of Carrick Hill and the people. The place is amazingly beautiful. There's an entry ticket to visit inside the mansion, outside is free to roam around, but everything closes at 4.30pm

We came here for a picnic a few weeks ago and the place looks great and well maintained. If you are looking for a place to go for a picnic with your loved ones i highly recommend this place to unwind and just relax.

The best view in Adelaide. The worst service in Adelaide. It took over an hour after ordering drinks for them to arrive. So we ordered a second round as soon as the first round came and they took just as long. Service was deplorable. Food was just as slow

A beautiful old house with magnificent gardens. The gardens are in full bloom this time of the year which makes it a lovely place to spend a day with the family. There is no entrance fee to enjoy the gardens but for visiting the house there's a fee. It's definitely worth a visit!

Scenic location. I imagine what it would be like to be here just around sunset or nighttime with a clear sky.

Beautiful gardens with amazing views. We went for a tour and it was nice to hear that the garden is being restored to its original design before it's state acquisition. Stunning rose displays. Archway of pears was a lovely cool spot on a warm day. You could bring a picnic rug and relax in the shade of a tree (we did) or eat at the cafe. Public toilets. Wheelchair accessible ramp.

I was there for work purposes but would like to return and explore. It had nice gardens and can host large gatherings such as weddings

A beautifully presented house and gardens. Even though a lot of people use the gardens the way they are set up you still have privacy for your event

An excellent slice of history that shines a light on how the world has changed.
