We booked cargo casual for our engagement party a few weeks ago. Jimmy and the team were so lovely to work with, their pricing is unbelievably good, and people have not stopped talking about how good the food was. On the day the staff were organised, considerate and professional. I am so grateful for the service cargo provided and can’t wait to book them again! If you’re looking for yummy, filling catering without paying a ridiculous amount and having everything taken care of, I cannot recommend them enough!

Cargo catered our farm wedding in December 2022 (this is a very delayed review – it was hard to put our gratitude into words!).

I can’t thank the team enough for their patience, attentiveness, adaptability, and professionalism. Nothing was too difficult – they overcame all the challenges associated with a farm wedding with ease (and smiles). They were extremely attentive and accommodating – particularly our guests with dietary requirements commented on how well looked after they were.

The food was INCREDIBLE. And so much of it! We had roaming canapes to start, then a shared table feast (and wedding cake for dessert). We also opted for the late-night toastie bar which was very popular.

The beautiful food and friendly service staff are the first things our guests comment on when reminiscing on the day.

I can’t recommend Cargo highly enough – they are the absolute best and you won’t be disappointed!

I could not speak highly enough of the entire Cargo team and their food and service. We utilised their catering and bar services for our wedding and the team were attentive, fun and took us on a real culinary journey from the start. Helping us to create a nut free and gluten free menu I can hand on my heart say I have never had better food at a wedding. Every platter, canapé and roaming entree were flavour packed, the ceviche bar was hands down a favourite and the panna cotta dessert bar was enthusiastically enjoyed by all. Guests raved about how amazing the food was in text messages following the event. I have had 3 friends ask who we used as they were so impressed saying they were blown away with the quality and service. Don't hesitate to lock Cargo in for your next event, we are already planning the next one! Thank you Cargo team for everything you are truly wonderful people and made our day so fun, tasty and really special!

The team at Cargo took care of the catering for my wedding last weekend at Waitpinga. The staff were extremely professional and delivered a delicious three course dinner. They worked feverishly in the background while we enjoyed the celebration and it was the most special night of my life.

We used Cargo for our wedding and were blown away by the quality of food and the service. Emma, the service manager, was a complete professional, taking care of absolutely everything (including cleaning leaves off my dress!). We had guests with a wide range of dietary requirements who commented on how well they were catered too -something we were very grateful for. Even the foodies commented on the excellent quality. As two people who love food, the catering company was always going to be critical to the success of our wedding and Cargo far exceeded our expectations. We had Cargo cater our wedding on the weekend and the food was incredible. Every guest we have spoken to this week has absolutely raved about the food, particularly the lamb! Those with dietary requirements also commented on how delicious their options were too and how they were accommodated for. My husband John and I had Cargo Catering for our wedding and not only were the staff wonderful, the food was AMAZING. We got so many compliments, particularly from those who had dietary requirements, as that can often be overlooked. Vegan and GF guests were delighted to have their own platter of delicious canapés and tasty mains served to them. I personally loved the snapper - it was divine!

We hired Cargo Catering Co.for our wedding and can honestly say that they were perfect! The food was amazing, we had compliments the entire night and still had people the next week telling us how good it was!

The food from Cargo Catering was amazing for our wedding. All guests loved the flavours and variety. They also catered for some diverse dietary requests. Everyone was happy!

Our wedding was weeks ago and people are still gushing about how much they loved the food!

My partner and I were initially drawn to Cargo’s Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours and their ‘share table feast’ option. We were thrilled that the Cargo team was still able to create the vibrant banquet we’d imagined, despite COVID restrictions, without sacrificing anyone’s safety. Our Event Coordinator Tamarin was a pleasure to work with - warm and responsive with a ‘can-do’ attitude; and the staff on the day were friendly, efficient and professional.

Cargo also has an exceptional range of plant-based options which I’d encourage everyone to try, regardless of whether you’re a meat-eater or not. Their spiced beetroot and roast garlic arancini with lemon aioli and kale crisp live rent-free in my mind, and our veggie guests have said how nice it was to be able to share the mains with everyone. We also had a few guests with unusual food intolerances (who is allergic to bananas? !?) and Cargo handled them with ease.

I would recommend Cargo to cater any occasion, without reservation.

Cargo were incredible throughout the whole process of our wedding day. They were accommodating to all our needs, and so easy to communicate with. As a vegetarian bride, I was looked after so well and we had so many compliments from guests about the food! The staff were so lovely they made our day so special, can't recommend enough!

BEST WEDDING CATERER EVER!

We chose Cargo Catering Co.to cater our wedding in Nov 2021. Even our guests were blown away with the style, presentation and taste of the food. Not only were we given such a wide range of selection, but the staff & chef's were always willing to adjust minor ingredients to suit all our guests.

We would suggest Cargo to those wanting a fun and flavoursome menu. Big shout out to Tamarin - not only did she help make everything run smoothly, but she checked in with us every step of the way (even after the honeymoon). Her professionalism and kindness is an asset to the business.
