32Level of rudness of reception radiologist I apologised I was few minutes late 10 and she said are you aware you are late? Rude not smile omg! Shame hospital is nice. Smile people life Is already though somentimes or change job If you not like it.
Grandma died the other week - orderly named Bennett really helped me out and made me feel loved. Will be coming back
Diamond stars not 5 star after birth of 1hour my pelvis rotates in dispostion and spinal cord trap, no feelings waste down, 28 years ago, no questions asked about people's life's but best care programme to walk again.
Special thanks to deliverly and physiology doctors.
No comparison between the private sector it's diamond service, bend over backwards for better health.
Pay for the best get the best on private health insurance companies.
Public health hospitals treat like homeless bikie etc
Very professionally run private hospital showing its age but the caring excellent staff make up for any shortfall in the age of the building.
I had an endoscopy here recently and I was a little nervous when I went in. But the nurses were amazing and supportive throughout. When I woke up from my procedure I was greeted with smiles and humour. As I was about to be discharged a lovely nurse sat with me for a chat about what was next for me. It was genuine and lovely.
I did experience the same confusion upon entering the hospital, the lady at security gave rushed, incorrect directions but there is enough signage to get around.
And the admissions system is a bit strange. You report to the day surgery desk and give your name and then sit down for 25 minutes until they call you. Surely the list of admissions for the day can be prepared in the morning or the day before? It seems like they don't get anything ready until you turn up. I went in for prep about 75 minutes after I arrived at the admissions desk
Not great. I just had a short day surgery at this hospital. I had never been there before. The man at the greeting desk was quite bad at giving directions for me. I had no idea I had to leave the hospital via back doors and go back outside into the separate day procedure building. Please have very big, clear signage.
My admission time was 7am. I arrived on the dot.
The ladies at the desk there ask for your name, highlight it on a list then tell you to the a seat and they will call you back up to do the paperwork.
I sat there for about 50 minutes, watching other people arrive, sit, and get called back up before I decided to get up and say something.
My name was obviously forgotten at the very top of the list.
***this is a TERRIBLE* system and you need to change it. Patients will get missed. I was concerned that my surgeon thought I was late for her first surgery of the day. What is the point of a 7am admission time?
When the lady at the desk went through my forms, she said "this is is to confirm this is not part of a 3rd party claim". I signed it.
Then the next form she says "this is to confirm this is not part of a third party claim". I told her that she had just told me the previous form was for that and she said "no, that one was to confirm you did your e-admission online".
Just acknowledge that you explained the wrong thing! Make a joke out of it! But nope. Just made me feel like *I* had made a mistake.
She had brown frizzy, curly hair and glasses. She is not competent in that role. The whole process was incredibly rushed, but probably because she forgot to call me up.
Aside from the abysmal admission process, my surgeon is beautiful and had no issues with the aftercare.
Lovely hospital and the staff are so caring. Meals are really nice. However in 2021 it is important for many people have access to good, reliable wifi. They advertise wifi as being available but it simply doesn’t work at all. If a miracle happens and it does connect, it simply just drops out again. This is reminiscent of last century. I will be here for another few days and I am about to run out of 4G data.
Nurses upsettingly, were shocking. No compassion. They are not in the right profession. If you cannot have empathy do not be around sick people. I was shocked by some of the responses from the team leader's. Please somebody look into this.
I enjoyed my brief stay here. It is a lovely hospital, has a coffee shop, and is surrounded with beautiful gardens. The staff were professional, attentive and friendly, and I felt very welcome. Everything to do with my stay went efficiently and without any complication. The meals were tasty and filling, and I enjoyed refreshing sleep. I went there to have cataract surgery and the care provided for this procedure was of a high standard. The hospital also has a Hospice which provides care for the terminally ill. Within the Hospice is a chapel and it contains beautiful stained glass windows. As the hospital was filled to capacity, a few of us were given rooms in the hospice. Apparently this is a common practice if there are rooms available. I was very impressed with my room which was spacious, had floating floorboard flooring, and slat covered sliding doors that opened out to a garden. I enjoyed the luxury of an airbed.a couch, a recliner and a fridge. It had a spacious ensuite bathroom. I guess most people don't think of hospice care or even talk of it, but I did consider that it would be a private and peaceful place to come to, if it was required.
Was in there for 3days after having hip replacement.
The staff, doctors, nurses etc were all fantastic and friendly, nothing
Was to hard for them.food was great and overall a great hospital.
Will go back for sure should I NEED another operation.
The staff here were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. Low and Dr. Wong made me feel very comfortable as I was quite nervous going in. The nursing staff were amazing and professional, can't thank them enough!
Recently I spent a few days at the St. Catherine's ward at this hospital, the Nurses in this ward are hard working and extremely nice, they are always around to help you. I have a great appreciation for how hard they work and yet there is always a smile on their faces.
The same goes for other staff at this ward.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you made those hard days after the surgery so much easier.
