Caffe Buongiorno - Norwood reviews
61 It has declined significantly over the 30 years that I have been here.
Tasteless food these days. Supermarket bought pasta and pizza is more flavoursome.
So good friendly staff, great dining experience perfect for friends and family. Decent sized meals and friendly prices.
Went on a Sunday afternoon 2.30 p.m. Service super fast. Had the Spinach Ravioli Puttanesca. Absolutely delicious as always.
Loved the chicken in my pollo zinghara. Have mostly chosen the pizzas as they are amazing, we come here before or after our movie nights. I remember having this one way back around 12 years ago. Same quality, and so much food i had to take half of it home with me, all good.
I cant give 5 stars as the chicken schnitzel my other half had was just a cheap frozen one put in a deep frier, dissappointed. But with so many other options its not much of an issue
We loved coming to this restaurant. Excellent service, delicious food, generous serves! The best Italian restaurant in Adelaide.
Very POOR Customer Service
Got a small cake with custard and morello cherries
Had 2 bites and found the custard was grainy …. Told waitress and she asked if I’d like something else … I said yes please. She asked owner and he told her no I couldn’t cause I’d had half but there’s only 4 bites to the whole cake… Good on the owner for getting stingy over $2 … luckily Bravo is across the road. Much better than this place!
Always has been a quality establishment with a great variety of food and drink.
Always good if you are after a late night pizza too!
Absolutely love the restaurant and one of the best middle range Italian spots in town. Their food is just out of this world, and the sauces are packed with full of flavours with great sized portions. I've been to the restaurant 3 times are evey time the food gets better. My go to dish is the Chillie prawn sauce and it pairs well with any type of pasta.
In general the restaurant is packed and the staff could get the orders mixed up, but I can live with it as long as they apologise and fix it. Advance reservations recommended.
Come here to purchase some coffees and got told to leave after the owner saw us have ice cream from somewhere else. Instead of approaching us and asking in a respectful manner where we got the ice cream from and for next time to not bring outside food to his establishment he proceeded to get very vocal and told us to leave in a very disrespectful tone. We still gave this business money and yet the owner felt the need to tell his customers to leave. What kind of customer service is that? The owner of this place is very rude and disrespectful to his customers and I do not recommend it. Also I heard through some people that they reuse the leftover bread that they put on tables and then it into garlic bread. Yuck that’s foul
Extremely disrespectful owner. Rudely demanded my friend and I - two grown adults - leave after we had purchased a coffee from them, because we had a dessert from elsewhere down the road, despite other surrounding tables also having outside food. The owner made a scene and told us to “go” very forcefully, no please or sorry, which I would’ve understood, but no- he must enjoy being an a—hole for no reason. Also to note there was zero signage regarding this “policy, ” but anyway. The coffee is always terrible so no loss for me, but the owners manner towards PAYING customers, coming from a fellow Italian, is disgraceful. Foul place if you ask me, all their workers look depressed and I can tell why. Won’t go back and don’t recommend.
Had the eggs benedict which was nice, could of had a bit more sauce and the eggs were a bit firm. Coffee was delicious.
Large seafood pizza ($29) - seafood didn't smell all that fresh but it's a busy place so assumed it must be ok. Sick the following two days!
Old authentic Italian Cafe, been there since a kid & wish for many more years to come.
Always busy on weekends
One of the main institutions of the Parade and sure not to disappoint.

Norwood. Great menu and very Reasonable Prices. Always a friendly Atmosphere. Its busy but comfortable and efficient service. Always remembered with a welcome greeting.
Fabulous food, real Italian food cooked by real Italians. Not particularly cheap but worth a visit. Always crowded at lunch time but we've never had any trouble getting a table. The veal scaloppini is a must try, tasty and tender, pizzas are OK but just pizzas don't waste a visit on pizzas, get the veal.
An iconic Norwood cafe dive the '80s. Always great coffee, food and service. Always busy which is testimony to how fabulous it is!
