Cafe Outside The Square

I held my 50th birthday party at the venue on a Saturday afternoon. Utilised all rooms including back function space, cafe proper, and the terrace (west facing so sun on it in the afternoon). Also the adjacent traffic lights facilitated entry into the Whitmore Square where I had kids entertainers operate on the grass and the basketball court. Had couple of hundred people when include adults and kids - the largest event the Cafe has had, and it went off without a minor problem let alone a major one. Also had some Tesla electric cars parked out front for adults to have a look at and which fostered use of the Terrace. Catering and service was great thanks to Paul and his team. Throughly recommend you have an event at the Cafe, no matter how big or small.

I recently held my book launch at the Cafe Outside the Square (12/10/19). The location, layout and ambience is truly amazing. I used the Atrium at the back of the venue and the team accommodated my layout requests. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. I got the catering package and the food was presented very well and it was great quality & quantity for the the price. I look forward to using the venue again for my business and personal functions in the future. The cafe really appealed to me due to this pay it forward ethos and mission. It is highly commendable.

Thank you Mike, Paul, Susan and Gary. You were all so easy to work with from the start to the finish. The Atrium was lovely and bright and such a great space for our annual team planning day. Facilities were fresh and clean. Nobody left hungry as food and beverages were bountiful. Highly recommend for your next team event.

I have used Cafe Outside the Square for a few professional development functions and continue to return because of the fantastic service from start to finish. The food is excellent and the venue itself is beautiful. It was easy to organise my events and everything always happens without any problems. Most of all, the staff are friendly and happy, and nothing is a bother. Thank you Mike and everyone else at Cafe Outside the Square for the brilliant service!

Excellent, generous servings of food, family friendly, feel good option to 'pay it forward' and a really lovely venue. Was a wonderful Father's Day experience and breakfast. We'll be back Cafe Outside The Square! If you haven't been, go!

An absolute delight to work with Cafe Outside the Square, hosting our event with the cafe was a painless process and had fabulous results. The staff are welcoming and accommodating, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, the venue itself is adaptable and functional. Love to visit the cafe in business hours for a great cup of coffee and comfortable place to meet people and would highly recommend it as a venue for your next event!

We held an all day workshop here to great success. Great value for money. The Atrium room was bright and lovely to spend an entire day in. Food was plentiful and yummy and the service from Mike in the lead up and Paul on the day was responsive, friendly and helpful. The fact that we were contributing to an important community initiative and helping make a difference was wonderful.

Delivered training to a large group of school educators on student volunteering at this wonderful venue. An ideal location to not only walk the talk but to connect with others in our CBD community. Wonderful service as well by Paul (and the volunteer) who looked after us all so warmly. Thanks so much to Mike also.

Thanks Mike and team for catering for our Strategic Planning offsite. The food was delicious and you provided a great variety which was enjoyed by all despite a range of differing dietary requirements. Delivery to our offsite venue was timely and smooth, and arrangements dealt with well by the team despite some changing numbers and details on our part. Your serves were very generous so our only issue was that we had so much food, which is certainly better than the alternative. We look forward to using Cafe Outside the Square again in the future!

A wonderful cafe for a good cause! Yummy food, friendly people, great music and plenty of events as everything they do is about engaging and connecting community, one of my favourite places in the South West!

My son and daughter-in-law had their baby shower there it was an amazing day. Food was amazing service and staff were outstanding so friendly and inviting did not want to leave. Thanks guys for making us feel so welcome keep up the good work with what you do.

Great catch up with my god daughter. The menu is compact & and reasonably priced, with delicious, fresh dishes. Caters for all palates. Service is friendly and prompt. And you can feed a less fortunate person by leaving $5.

This cafe is such an awesome space.
The concept alone is enough to make me want to go there (all their profits go toward supporting the mens’ shelter next door) but on top of that they have a good selection of drinks and yummy platters to share with friends.
Friendly service and a gift section are another bonus.

A very pleasant experience at Cafe Outside the Square. The food was yummy and came out promptly. Great range on the menu. Both indoors and outdoor seating options with natural light and great music. Owners are very welcoming and friendly to chat to!
