Cafe Outside The Square reviews
58Haven't actually eaten there but I'm sure its absolutely delicious. Was volunteering nearby. Great location
A great place to gave a coffee and something to eat.and they help the less fortunate people and give them something to eat.
I had my baby shower here today in the atrium area of the cafe. The staff were great, food was amazing, and everything couldn’t have been more perfect!
From the start of the planning stages all the way through to today, the staff were great with communication and listening to what I wanted and met those expectations.
I had a big range of different cocktail platters with hot and cold, both sweet and savoury food, and there was not one single thing I could fault! They were able to meet to dietary requirements for my guests too which was a great bonus!
Absolutely would 100% recommend for any kind of function and even more so because all profits go towards their soup kitchen to feed the less fortunate and homeless
Fantastic place for a function! Staff were so lovely the whole evening,
Highly recommend this place
We held an event here on the weekend and it was fantastic! The staff were so helpful and accommodating, the space was beautiful and it is exceptional value for money. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a space to host an event!
Great community work done here. Help support then to support others no so fortunate. Friendly atmosphere and staff
Sharing a loving event happened today. Praise this very responsible and enthusiastic store manager, lost the key today and left a friendly note on my car window:)
Always friendly service, great food and a lovely business supporting different causes including helping to feed homeless folk through their nighttime soup kitchen. Can cater to a good range of dietaries too (GF but not coeliac due to shared kitchen).
Beautiful cafe with an even better ethos! Would love to see some more vegan options on the menu️
Wonderful Cafe. Friendly staff, nice coffee and breakfast and great value for money. Will be back!
I love coming here, Celia is lovely and so are the rest of the staff. The space is open, eclectic and peaceful - just my vibe. The food and coffee are lovely (the little biscuit that comes with the coffee makes my taste buds dance!) they always have amazing cakes in their cabinet made on site… and you can “pay it forward” by adding $5 to your meal that will help feed a less fortunate person through the soup kitchen they run on site at night.
Lovely light filled atrium was the perfect spot for a team lunch. Tasty food and friendly service.
Celia is a wonderfully warm, patient and efficient manager of events and Mike is steadfast and positive. I felt so reassured in the planning of my Book Launch. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by my 60 guests! The food was delicious, service timely and friendly, facilities light-filled and comfortable.
Guests were so impressed with the unique building and the altruistic intentions of the cafe! We, like so many people, needed this time of celebration and coming together. Cafe Outside the Square provided the perfect relaxed atmosphere for the highlight of my life - the launch of Patchwork, A Life.
Thank you guys! Rose Boswell
We had our son 1st birthday party there, it was amazing! The food was nice and the staffs are very friendly and helpful! Will definitely recommending to others!
We've held a number of events at Café Outside the Square as part of the South Australian English Teachers Association, including Early Career Teacher Workshops.
We've always found the venue well set up, the food fantastic and the staff very helpful.
Would definitely recommend to anyone for either a business or personal function.
This cosy cafe is located centrally at Adelaide CBD with really great food, it's fresh, delicious and reasonably priced.
The best part is that it's a soup kitchen in the evenings (Not sure of the exact times) and their profits are going towards the homeless and needy. So when you purchase a meal, you're also contributing towards a great cause.
P.s their fluffy pancakes are a must try. It just melts in your mouth

We loves the cause behind the cafe so much so that we had our baby shower there. The staff were so supportive and helped with the decor and setting up the place. I just can't thank Celia and Emily enough for everything. We strongly encourage you to have your events here. By doing so you will be part of a worthy cause
Amazing little Cafe with amazing food. Supporting local disadvantaged people never felt so good and yummy
Went in this afternoon to grab a coffee, there was a new face behind the counter, she was a delight, and the coffee was amazing.
Hosted a baby shower a couple weeks ago in the Atrium space. We were SO pleased with this space. It’s openness, size was not too big but still spacious, great lighting, toilets were close and clean etc. Staff were so helpful with the planning and the day of, continuously offering support and ideas, and service with a smile and a laugh. Generous portions of food, and yummy at that! I will be recommending this venue in the future!:)
Such a good vibe. Delicious food, awesome staff and great overall vibe! Glad to discover the place and. Will definitely come here more often.
