Cafe Michael 2 reviews
71We had the pad thai and barramundi, honestly some of the best food we've ever had. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Fantastic friendly service!
Absolutely delicious food with friendly service. The beef Choo Chee was outstanding. Also very vegetarian friendly. Highly recommended
Was a very splendid experience. A clean and comfortable eating space accented with a beautiful colour palate. Will definitely come again! ️
Best experience ever! The experience was heavenly as I was served a meal fit for God himself. The waiter was prompt and polite. The appetizers must be sprinkled with crack because I just craved for more and more. I was happy to see how clean everything was. Overall experience: 5 stars
Provided substandard green curry chicken and refused to refund or change the order. Chicken was red and smelled bad. Amazed to see how low service industry has steeped.
Ordered through menulog. I cannot recommend chicken stir fry. Rice was mushy, dish lacked flavour.
I and my partner are frequenters to this cafe, one can say. It is not far from the Adelaide University and a stone throwing distance from the Botanic Garden and the Rundle Park. What I personally like about the place is the ambience and vibe inside. Needless to mention, the food is awesome. A perfect place for hangout and a paradise of gastronomical delights.
The food was spectacular and the staff were friendly, very engaging and made you feel right at home. The outdoor dining and restaurant environment was superb. Will definitely be back and I encourage people to give it a go
The warm ambiance, friendly staff, and exceptional flavors made it a memorable visit. From classic favorites like Pad Thai to lesser-known gems, every dish was bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The Tom Yum soup was a standout, Sticky Rice was a heavenly treat. All in all one of the best Thai restaurant.
Yesterday was my first visit to this cafe and I fell short of words of appreciation for the wonderful behaviour of the staffs and fresh seafood served to us. Definitely recommend to all my friends and aquaintances for a must-visit to this cafe.
Food was excellent but won't be back because corkage was $15 a bottle. Partner brought in a red, me a white. Poured our own. Billed $30.
Food was overpriced and very poor quality. Service was also poor: asked for more table water, which never came; meals were brought out individually with enough time for the first person to almost finish their meal before the last was served. Wait staff were carrying dishes to table with their hands wrapped over the edge of the plates and into the food, also handling glassware inside the glasses at the table. Table water was straight from the tap. As table was cleared, a bowl of gravy was spilled over two diners. An apology and napkins were provided on request, but no offer to comp food or drinks.
Altogether a very disappointing experience.
Waited for 2 hours for our order, requested to check order for multiple time but No response at all. Cashier at counter or May be owner is full of attitude.we came out empty stomach. They even bother to apologize.
Always enjoy the Tom Yum one of my favourites and specials usually but I would like to see a few smiles and better front service
I come here because of reviews and we weren't disappointed. I've been to Thailand and meals at cafe Michael 2 come fairly close. Tom Yum was moresome, pineapple rice was different but very tasty and filling, my brother's seafood noodles with chilli hit the spot, he ordered 5/10 hot, just right. Quick service and a friendly smile, authentic Thai food yum!
No longer at the address listed….
Me and my girlfriend walked 15mins to stand at the address looking at an empty window
It may have moved but at least update the address. Very good Thai just down the street if anyone is looking
I ordered jasmine rice and basil beef stir fry. The portion size was ridiculously small. The food they offer is very expensive compared to the quality you receive. If you pass by the kitchen and go to the rest room you will find out how dirty the kitchen is.
I used to love your green chicken curry but whatever you’ve done to it, can you please change it back? It tastes watered down
This place was full and buzzing, convinced we had found a hidden gem. Unfortunately not the case. Food was average in appearance, taste and portion size. We’ve had many tastier meals at China town. Hot jungle curry has large pieces of inedible lemongrass so beware. Shame.
Food was really great. We tries Fried rice and Noodles. Both were quite tasty.
Service was not up to the mark. But place was crowded at that time so I can ignore it this time.
