Brighton Sunday Market reviews
41Lots and lots of stalls, quite a variety of options, good choice of tucker, well laid out, lots of parking.
First time at Brighton Markets and stall fees are ridiculously expensive especially when the likes of Gepps Cross Market is the same stall fees and has thousands more people there to buy.
Not that many people come to the Markets to buy and by 11am hardly anyone around.
Not very impressed that early arrivers there to buy, help themselves to unboxed items going through your goods with no respect and breaking things without telling you.
I don’t think we would go back.
A lot of junk there, but one person's trash could be another person's treasure. The fruit and veggie stalls are great, and the baked items too.
Get there early before it gets too busy!
Nice little market where you have find all sorts of treasures. They even have some food stores near the back that sell delicious snacks! Mostly good prices for what you get. You can buy anything from toy cars to clothes to earrings. Good place to visit.
1st time today. Friendly people, great prices. Mrs and I had a bloody good morning. Wife was impressed of the fruit and veg price difference from the supermarkets. Also to support our farmers who do the real hard yakka. Thanks to organises, good job.
The managements organization skills were great and affordable for sellers, and for buyers there is a huge range.
Always a great out door market, unless it is raining then usually only fruit and vegetables available.
Great place to go. Bargains galore. Love the atmosphere and the people. U get to know the regulars. Must get there early. 7am. Yuk but it is worth the early morning wake up
Lovely market for sellers and buyers. Great community event supported by locals. Excellent fruit and veg and baked goods plus heaps of second hand clothes and household goods.
We like going here, it's a large oval market with many stalls of food, brick a brack grocery, and much more. It's dog friendly so we take our dog as well. Parking is cheap and easy with all proceeds going to the schools music classes which beong a public school is nice.
It is a true community market, with a wide variety of products and attracting a large number of consumers. It has a great, vibrant atmosphere and is an event where friends and families catch up and get the opportunity to purchase their fresh produce and most probably bag a bargain. It is most certainly recommended as deserving of a visit.
Great market for sellers and buyers. My mother has gone as a seller for many years abd always positive feed back
Its a good dog friendly Market. Would like to see more Canine stalls. Perhaps some of the local Dog Clubs/Association can premote their wares & business.
I belong to 2 Dog Clubs,
(1) Dogs-SA, & (2) The Schnauzer Club of South Australia.
I sometimes attend my local Dog Shows or Pet Expos. Thank you.
This is a great Sunday event. Stall holder Proceeds going to support the school.
Lots of unique sellers, food, produce, antiques, tools, plants and surprisingly the coffee is quite good.
There is always a possibility that you can find a bargain of some kind. In most cases people are trying to make a few dollars by recycling their unwanted items. You will find often very good value if you need to shop for children toys and clothing.
Good market to goto for a bit of everything you name it you can more then likely find it a good way to spend some time having a look at all the stuff
Great place to hunt out bargains and get fresh fruit and veggies. However, there is starting to be a lot of weekly sellers with some prices being close to RRP but its easy to move past these sellers.
When it's a full oval then it's great, takes you back to the old days of trash and treasure at the drive in. Just needs to get rid of the antique dealers asking way to much for there stuff. Also better parking wouldnt go astray.
A nice place to visit on Sunday early morning. Vast assortment of pretty fresh vegetables, a bit cheaper than in stores. However, no exotic fruits like papaya and dragon fruit or we were unlucky. Super tradefair for buying used toys which cost only 1-2 dollars. My son wanted everything!
