Great food, great service, great view, great atmosphere, the 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed it!

Driving through the area and came across this hidden gem. Really unexpected. Beautiful spot on the river with a verandah and lawn area. Bird watching and paddle steamer going past were bonuses.

Owners are just downright rude. So much attitude for absolutely no reason. If you hate your job so much why are you hanging around! Will not be back!

Went for a road trip, went to Bowhill / Walkers Flat just to look at the river, saw this place would be about right spot for a late lunch before we left. Great place to pull over, the store has a picture wall showing the history inside, great cheerful owner, and very nice food. It was a colder day so we sat inside, but the river views from sitting on their front deck or lawn area were superb.

Oh, and the owner makes a great coffee as well. Recommend this place for a meal, chat and or coffee stop.

Great shop - magic location. Owners super friendly and go out of their way to accommodate.

We have been to Bow Hill twice in the last week and the fish and chips have been exceptional. Great work team!

Great cafe on the river serving good coffee. A great place to break your journey down the Murray. Completely renovated with fresh new look. Good bathrooms. Friendy staff. Outdoor seating with a riverfront view - perfect!

Service a bit slow. One order at a time. No moving quickly. Good range of take away foods however chips a bit ordinary. But store was open and available. More than can be said for other tourist towns on the sunday

Great food and service …. If you’re after a great lunch a quick coffee or snack, this is one of the best places on the river to stop at. Thanks for your friendly fast service.

A delicious lunch, enjoyed while relaxing outside watching the Murray flow by. Friendly and welcoming. A beautiful new building that deserves a visit - stay for a long lunch and soak up the tranquility!

Great food, service & awesome position on the riverbank to enjoy a meal with a glass of wine. General store well stocked for houseboats/ski boats etc, to drop in for supplies. Bonus safe mooring to collect yr groceries etc from.

Great little river side store. Pulled right up to it in a houseboat. Everything you need and same prices as in the city, no jacked up country prices. Also make great coffees.

General store on bow hill immediately spoke down towards me when I walked in. They then proceeded to charge me $6.20 for a cheese kransky and when I went to sit down to eat it the told me I wasn’t allowed and to go to the park across the road

Had decaf coffee and gluten cake.lovely.has a bit o f everything for. Nappies to tools. Quite a range of food products. Nice range of alcohol.
Friendly staff with reasonable prices.
