Bloom reviews
55Good decoration good location, good vibe and staff friendly but quite overpriced. My dish was literally poached eggs and bacon for $20, no choice due to not a lot of options for brunch, mainly lunch courses.
Good coffee, great service! And a beautiful place to be, unfortunately the food was quite disappointing.
Where do i start!? The atmosphere is great. The smell of the fire welcomes you in. Greeted by lovely staff to find a seat. We had a couple of share plates which didn't disappoint. The flavours were amazing (love the damper cooked on a stick!) The coffee is like a warm hug. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back. The area out the back looks perfect for functions as well.
Coffee the boom! Bought a bean back! Overall in good it was ok. Staff is nice and friendly! Must come again to try other stuff
Easter - on the way home from the beach we decided to check Bloom. Busy but we scored an eastern "bar" spot behind the espresso machine
The wood fire was a great backdrop to the attractive space and the chefs worked hard
There was a good range of tap and bottled beers and the wines were reasonably priced
We enjoyed fabulous Wood-fired halloumi dressed with pine nuts, sumac, honey and thyme [$16] - beautifully balanced flavours!
The service was excellent - prompt and friendly
Friendly staff, awesome ambience and great food. Go here if you want a classy brunch/lunch with different food and potentially some interesting cocktails
A gorgeous venue. The food was ok, but the portion far too small for the price. $18 for a thin slice of toast with half an avocado and a small grilled tomato. I left still hungry. My friend and I felt rushed the whole time. They came to take our food order within a minute of us arriving. We hadn’t even turned over the menus yet. Immediately after we finished our food, they cleared our plates and asked if we wanted the bill. We hadn’t even finished our coffees. We had only been there 35min. It wasn’t as though we were walk ins on a busy day, we had a booking on a Wednesday morning and there were plenty of available tables. My friend considered ordering another coffee just so we could stay and chat a little longer, but we were hounded twice more by the staff to pay the bill. So we sculled our coffees, paid and stood outside to finish our catch up. We were in and out within 40min. I was actually really keen to try this place out, but I was left disappointed by the small food portions and very rushed service.
So a group of us went for the feed me lunch today.
Amazing! Some favourites along with some different dishes. Great value and wonderful service as well
Amazing, totally lived up to the hype as one of Adelaide's new trendy cafes. It's more than brunch though, expect fine dinner dining but during the day. Really rich flavours, but on the spicy side.
I booked lunch for 20 people at Bloom, the food was absolutely delicious with so much left over. The staff were very attentive and made the afternoon a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
It is beautiful place with nice staff. However the food is so disappointed, it was the worst brunch I have ever had in last few years. The lamb was too fat and cold. The fatty part in the middle even not cooked. I felt like I was eating a raw fatty bit. Feel so bad.
Such a lovely and unique environment. You can have your coffee at the rear yard lying on a rug. Dog friendly as well!
Waited to be seated for a good 5 minutes on a quiet afternoon only to be told that because we're not eating food we'd be sitting on the grass. Had to get up and order our drinks even though the tables seemed to be waited on, and our full to the brim drinks were brought to us with nothing to sit them on. Rightio, the grass thing is vibey but a table and chairs option would have been nice, or at the very least a small rest or paddle to sit our drinks on. The second star is for the coffee which was quite good but not enough to make up for feeling like we were pushed to the side.
Amazing cafe place & restaurant with a stellar looking interior and an delicious selection of different Asian fusion dishes. Some of the food is cooked over open wood fire.
It was our first time to have brunch in this cutest little spot near the brewery. The food is extensive to a particularly high standard. The grilled trout is to die for. The service we received was so amazing. Just a little ramp for families with little ones should be in place, otherwise it's perfect. They made us feel welcomed and gave us a great experience. We will definitely be back again.
