Blackwood Clinic

Went in for the very first time to Blackwood clinic. The staff was super nice. I had an appointment with Dr Kai Wan and he is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He was extremely supportive, understanding, kind and reassuring. My experience over all was great and I will definitely be going back.

I needed some fairly urgent advice about medications. I was able to speak with Dr Valente (Telehealth call), and I appreciated the good listening and clear communication that addressed my concerns.
Very grateful.

Fantastic clinic, friendly and efficient reception staff and the level of care is excellent, which is what you'd hope for sans bulk billing. Dr Nguyen is my go to doctor, friendly, empathetic, thorough and highly knowledgeable, couldn't be happier!

Update: I have been seeing Dr Lorenzetti recently, amazing practitioner, won't be changing any time soon!

The receptionist politely registered my request and called me back with the result. When Doctor Bareto called me, she was very helpful. She listened attentively and arranged medication to treat my illness. Doctor Bareto arranged for me to collect the prescription from the surgery.

Best, most friendliest clinic. All the Drs, nurses, office staff …. Very professional, caring and kind. Thank you guys! Will be back again

Dr Balasis is always interested in my welfare, listens carefully, is unhurried and provides excellent treatment and advice.

Fabulous service. I like the hotdoc booking system too. Let's you know if you're next in line or if there's anyone before you. The staff and doctors are friendly and caring.

$91 for a five minutes phone conversation seems a bit excessive. Only wanted a script renewal

Very difficult to get an appointment with your chosen Dr. Understand shortage of Drs but its nice to have continuity of care when you are not feeling the best.

I'm always happy at Blackwood Clinic. The nurse I saw today was very friendly and helpful with my situation.

The Doctor and Nurse at the Travel service were excellent and friendly but the appointment took a very long time because they were doing several things at once. When we got to payment the invoice was confusing (for several family members) and the administrative person was very rude and did not explain the costs clearly. The cost of things should have been explained in advance or as we went and there was no reason for the rudeness of the administrative staff as we were doing our best to pay and understand the invoices.

I have always been accommodated/assisted in seeking an urgent appointment either with my regular Doctor or another suitable replacement Doctor - Very happy the way Blackwood Clinic looks after my medical needs.

I've been going to this clinic for 14 years and I've found the medical and admin staff to be highly reliable and professional.

This was a phone consult. Dr rang on time and listened to my concerns providing the necessary assistance.

Appointment to discuss some issues post operation. First visit with Dr Koh - caring & explained/clarified issues in layman's terms.

I needed bloods taken for a glucose issue. The nurse injected a vein in my arm while standing virtually behind me and it hurt like hell. She then had to taken a second amount - and reinserted the needle in almost the same spot. It was even more painful, for obvious reasons. Why not select a different vein? In the meantime, she had placed an alcohol-based swab on the shoulder of my jumper (!) and then proceeded to wipe away the blood on my vein. Alcohol! More pain. No gauze! Quite aside from that, she kept bumping me - she was big. And the constant wheezing! Then the huge bruise for a week. Not a good experience.

I highly recommend blackwood clinic. I went to see Hannah-Claire Koblar around a year ago and have always felt welcomed. Blackwood Clinic is friendly, welcoming and has great advice.

Friendly, organised and professional, as a new patient I felt welcomed and well informed by both the receptionists and doctor.

Excellent practice with dedicated and considerate professional staff and helpful attentive doctors. Very satisfied with the service here and would highly recommend.
