Small place in the suburbs, but the food is great and very reasonably priced. We had the Blackened Chicken and Pork Belly. Coming back tomorrow to try more dishes.

The food is fantastic - tasty, interesting and complementary flavours, and fresh. The menu may be small but they nail every dish. The restaurant itself is comfortable and intimate, with great service. Best of all, you leave feeling like you've eaten something healthy (particularly if you're trying to do low carb/ keto which is nigh on impossible when you want to eat out). And, anyone who can make me want to eat a second serving of green beans is doing something magical

Delicious modern barbeque. We've had the chicken, brisket, salmon and squid and they were all very tasty. Nice fresh flavours, good prices (less than a parmy at most hotels) and genuinely nice owners. Please stay away and leave it to the locals.

We got uber burgers delivered and they were Yumm! The beef was not a patty but a slow cooked piece of beef. Everything about it was good.
We also got that pork and chicken and they were so good. And the chips arrived freshly cooked and delicious.
Will definitely be ordering from them again.

Loved every mouthful. Fantastic food, tastes and the flavours were gorgeous. Could taste the quality in the ingredients and the making. Excellent service, our waitress was so lovely. I'm coming again soon and will be recommending to all my friends.

Really great local restaurant. The reviews are accurate lovely food, good prices and descent drink option. We like it so much we eat in or takeaway often. I enjoy the half chicken, but the salmon and the brisket are all excellent even the side dishes are fresh and tasty and certainly worth a try.

We have always loved dining in at Black Bird, always top notch service and incredible food. Tonight we tried take-away for the first time, unbelievable, we were once again thoroughly impressed! Surprising inexpensive for delicious good quality food!

Black Bird is a nice neighbourhood restaurant to stop for a meal - a much needed alternative to the fluorescent BBs on the corner. The owner was friendly accommodating. We tried the pork belly, charcoal chicken, salmon and black rice squid dishes as well as dessert. Will be back again.

For the quality and presentation of the food, you would've paid double the price elsewhere in the city. Ordered the pork belly rotisserie and it was amazingly tender and flavoursome. This unassuming place is truly a gem.

Like Simon, I'm not usually one to write reviews but I was so impressed by this establishment that I felt the need.

The food is great and relatively inexpensive, the service was also exceptional. Very relaxed atmosphere, cool decor, good lighting and relaxed music at a level that didn't hinder conversation.

All in all a great experience and we'll be undoubtedly returning.

We thought we'd try this place, which has only been open for two weeks. We sampled four out of the current six dishes on their Charcoal Rotisserie menu.

I thought the food was excellent for the prices that they are charging. My favourite is the Beef Brisket, which had a nice smokiness and a sweet BBQ sauce. Their signature Blackened Charcoal Chicken is nicely spiced and roasted to perfection - juicy and moist.

We also tried the Pork Belly, which was well balanced by the pear and diakon salad, and their Chargrilled Chicken Salad. For sides, the Roti Pumpkin is interesting and a dish I would order again.

Being new, they are still working through issues. It was a hot day and unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't cope well or I would have easily rated this eatery five stars!
