Excellent food. Brisket yum yum. Blackened chicken yum yum. Chicken burger with amazing chips yum.

Really delicious food. A small menu that is done very well. The meats were all fantastic. Pork belly and beef burger were standouts.

The service was fast, great value, food served quickly, well presented but most importantly not only the flavours were phenomenal but it was melt in your mouth. Highly rate and will go back again. Thanks guys!

To describe a place that has almost entirely 5 star reviews as "underrated" is a big call. Black Bird is underrated.

Been wanting to go here for some time and really glad I did. The food is amazing and flavourful will nice salads pairing with each of the meats. Chicken and brisket both tender and juicy. Service was really great unsure about other reviews I have seen but staff were very friendly and helpful. Cute little location. Will be back

Disappointed! Their reluctance to honor their Entertainment discount- destroyed what was otherwise a nice meal. Nobody goes out for a meal, to have to argue, to be treated fairly. I will be contacting the entertainment app to complain.

Delicious food that's consistent with repeat visits, fantastic chips topped off with friendly service. The waitress and chefs function as a team which is great to observe. Loved how the waitress served our large chips in two small bowls to "avoid conflict" between me and my partner

Blackbird is such a hidden gem. The most QUALITY ingredients and attention to detail. Black Bird is my regular weekend take away & they even make the effort to cook the chips on pick up so they are hot for you! Incredible hot chips, all burgers, wraps and salads are so tasty! We often have enough for leftovers the next day.

We had the pork belly and it was delicious. We have a paid subscription to the Entertainment app for meal deals. Black Bird would not honour the deal, making up some of their own rules we have never encountered anywhere after years of subscribing. They should not be on this app if they will not honour their discount. The service was good and it was acknowledged that many have been disappointed about not honouring the discount. Having said that, the food was delicious and a great feed.

The food here is Asian fusion and very tasty. It is a very small restaurant so don't book for a party of more than 6 people.

Good food but waiter didn't write anything down so had to come back to check our drink order (no worries), but then I was brought the wrong food. I told the waitress, who apparently didn't speak any English so beckoned over another waiter who also.didn't speak English? In any case didn't respond. The original waiter eventually came over too so I repeated myself for the third time. My husband's food was sitting there getting cold while they made the actual food I ordered. They also charged us for what they had originally brought me which was dearer than what I actually ordered but with the language barrier I decided the few dollars wasn't worth it.

Decorations are pretty tacky. We had to ask for the heater to be turned on (outside in the middle of winter).

Food was tasty though, and the drinks were nice.

Black bird is a family business that makes great burgers. We always order the same and it’s always a consistent high quality. Slow cooked meats with slaw are a winner, chips are bang on.

We return time and time again for the outstanding food at a great price. Quiet and efficient when dining in, and easy for take away.

Amazing little eatery that delivers more than promised! We had the chicken, pork belly and beef briskets with a large serve of chips and it was definitely more than enough food for 3 people

They only allow one entertainment card per table. Other cafes allow three. Food great, service also good.

Today was the second time I went back to BlackBird - safe to say that I love the food! Ordered the Blackened Charcoal Chicken, the beef brisket, garden tomato salad (which is the winner for me), dark greens and a bowl of chips! Everything was just perfect. The staff (the amazing girl that served us food) was just lovely. Kudos to the owner, you have done a good job - will definitely be back with more friends:)

Our favourite local restaurant. The menu choice is too delicious that we go back to try something else. The salmon is my favorite. The wines available complement the menu.

Found this gem a couple of weeks ago. Great value takeaway. The chips are top notch with all the other offerings we had being solid.
