Beyond India reviews
70Ordered takeway from their menu, they charged $18 for goat curry, when asked that menu says $16, the response was that the prices has been updated in the system but it's not showing in the menu cos the menu they have in the restaurant is like 5 years old.
I tried there banquet option that was not impressive paid around 80 for 2 was expansive apart from that food and service is great
Am order this restaurent last night on deleveroo, 3 garlic naan and 1 malai kofta, garlic naan quality not good like frozen naan not make fresh
1st visit, portion size of the rice could have been bigger but taste wise of everything we had was awesome.
Ordered $186 of food delivery from thier Web page. 3 items were left out. Called and they said they would get the items to us within 15 minutes. One of the items was a starter. I said can we have a discount on the price as now the rest of our food was getting cold. They said no and weren't budging. They said they would put some complimentary items in. We got some poppadoms and raita for free. We had already bought poppadoms and and don't really need 2 big bowls of raita. All of which went in the bin. Food was OK when we finally got to eat but ruined a dinner party with the mistake.
Took a takeaway, quality & quantity of food very poor and highly overpriced,
would not recommend!
Received order late and it was cold. Rang the restaurant to complain but was told it wouldn't have been cold. Restaurant wouldn't acknowledge the issue.
Covid check-in required. Not crowded. Plenty of parking. Awesome customer service. Good food. Would come back again! ️
Biryani is too deferent from the website's menu picture.
It was taste like Ketchup sticky rice with some spices.
I deal with this place quite a bit for Uber Eats pick ups and in that department they are 5 stars. Staff friendliness is spot on. Ive had food several times also over the years and it's good without being fantastic. 4 1/2 stars if had that option.
Food quality is terrible and over priced. Portions are very small and even naan bread is half the size compared to other places. Ordered an eggplant and potato curry and this was all the serve for almost $14 (see pic). Which was mostly potato and barely any eggplant and mushroom in it. When called their excuse was "oh well we always serve this size for eggplant", like that is an acceptable answer. Doesn't say anywhere on menu that its barely enough for one adult person.
-eggplant was bland and tasteless, but atleast warm.
-naan's were completely cold and tough.
-kulcha naan was just tasteless.
-had their veg briyani, it was full of bright red colouring, with undercooked vegetables.
Next time i will take my chances with hungry jacks if i am hungry.
OMG. I've been around to different Indian restraunts.but
Beyond India would have to be Adelaides Absolute Best.butter chicken is Absolutely mouth watering.
10/10
Big 5 stars.to this place.
I will definitely 100 % Return.
Beautiful people. Beautiful Food.
5 stars Butter Chicken and Beef vindaloo is our favourite. Also the cheesy garlic Naan and samosa’s are great! Always come back to this place a few times a month. Definitely give Beyond India a go if you haven’t tried it! You’ll love it
Best Indian Restaurant in Adelaide, tasty food, good portion, nice environment, friendly staffs. Definitely recommend
+ Food quantity is good
+ Butter nan was good
+ Butter chicken was on sweeter side.
+ Tandoori chicken was just average.
Unfortunately None of them had any resemblance of an authentic Indian food. Naturalised for local taste buds. I will definitely try few more from this restaurant before giving up:)
Takeaway tandoori chicken was horrible. Got defrosted chicken pieces with water in the container
Service was fast and the naans were lovely but the tandoori chicken was cold and the other dishes were rather bland
Lovely people, ordered throug menu log but to incorrect location (North Adelaide). They were so lovely they cooked my food for me at Modbury and there was no extra charge. The food was delicious! They even gave us a free rice. Fantastic service
I heard a lot of good about this place from my aussie friends, so went there for a pickup. I was given wrong food, which is understandable and very propmtly they accepted their mistake and delivered my correct order with some free papadums. I had ordered for tikkas and kebabs (fortunately) and when they were delivered, i was taken a back and i could see only red color in the container. It was very difficult for me to differentiate between kebab and tikkas, they all looked the same and tatsed the same. They reminded me of (supposedly) indian restaurants owned and run by Pakistanis / bangladeshis in London city, claiminig to be serving indian food. IMO, there are other small indian restaurants serving good indian food than this place and at a much lower rate.
Butter chicken is good as always but do you really think its acceptable to give someone a container thats 90% watery sauce and 6 small peices of chicken.like come on i couldnt even cover all my rice.it was like i payed $35 for a soup to be delivered to my house, was very dissapointed.
