Beyond India reviews
71Absolutely love this place! I just had the most amazing Masala Dosa. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Adelaide & lovely owners. You can really see the care that goes into the meals. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Beyond India ️
Hadn't been here for a few years and am pleased that it's still reliably great food and attentive service. This would have to be the best butter chicken in Adelaide, but everything I've tried has been delicious.
Really good vegetarian menu, and excellent service in a peaceful, beautifully maintained setting. We will definitely go back!
Beyond India is the bomb! Delicious! George, Thankyou for an amazing lunch. We'll be back very soon.
We ordered a veg and chicken biryani. We were in dilemma before ordering food but later we were so satisfy by taste and food. I highly recommend this place who ever loves biryani.
Absolutely awesome impressive range of flavours
Nan bread, mushroom curry, butter chicken, raita and Naan tingled the mouth and satisfying the appetite leaving a warmth that can only come from passionately prepared delicious curries!
Delicious food. Imortantly a very clean restaurant with friendly and professional staff. Do not hesitate to recommended some one who likes delicious south asian cuisines. They made it hot if required.
If you like a really good curry this is the spot - food is really good quality and the place is always clean. Their service is also excellent
Friendly and efficient service - superb.
Gulab Jamun so big, fluffy and tasty.
Ras Malai so sweet and lovely.
Add another 2 stars, 5 isn't enough.
I was really disappointed after dining at Beyond India at my very first visit. The service was really really slow. It took them close to an hour to serve the food. And, the food that we had ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta had the same gravy without any taste, and had so much colour in it that our fingers were stained for hours after washing hands. In addition, the curries were so damn spicy that it was difficult to eat. But as we were already so late in food being served that we didn't have the patience to re-order and the kids had begun to get cranky as well.
Twice i ordered combo meal through uber eats. 2 gravy, 2 naan, rice, and raita. Food was amazing and tasty. I will definitely order again and will recommend to my friends as well.
It was fantastic.the manager/waiter for lovely and chef custom prepared the food to taste way better. Kudos to the restaurant.
The food was just pathethic. My worst Indian food ever in Adelaide. The Paneer and Chhole were beyond pathetic i must say.
Just ordered a takeaway (butter chicken) and 2x Naan Bread. The butter chicken was very nice, the Naan bread was awful, tasteless, supposed to be garlic Naan, had zero garlic, and the plain Naan was doughy, lesson learned!
Food is very very very worst in tast and even making complaint to manager, he don’t have good approach to talk and deal with the customers as well not taking judgement in present for food but tells when the customers leave he will talk to the chef really disgusting food and hotel will never recommend to visit
Beyond India will never be again on my list of preferred Indian restaurant. We ordered non veg platter which had three pieces i.e. Chicken tikka, kebab and fish. Fish was not good at all whereas i liked kebab and chicken tikka. Also my humble request please rename the dish as calling it platter is misleading considering there are only 3 peices. Next was dal makhni which i would say was the best thing on our table. As vivid goat meat lovers we ordered goat curry. The pieces were as small as marbles- did not understand why and were even as hard as marbles though curry per say was good and had flavor. We also dared to order keema kulcha; though it had taste but keema was like powder very dry without any juices. To top it all my husband felt adventurous and ordered butter chicken samosa; that was like two cricket balls. We still debate what was in that samosa as we couldn't find chicken in that. Nevertheless service was good hostess was very kind and patient and we shared our opinion with her. Nut shell Beyond India is hyped restaurant; experience was not good at all, i truly feel that we wasted our money and evening. I was too scared to order sweets from there. Having said so all my best wishes are with them.
Paneer tikka and chilli paneer tasted sweet, not authentic taste. Over priced for poor quality food.
Went there 5 days ago.food was really good especially chicken tikka. Kareen ️did a great job.really polite and humble.special thanks to her.would like to go there again.will recommend to others as well
Thanks
Main meals are way overpriced for the portion size and the curry’s lack flavour and spice. Don’t waste your money like we just did.
Arrived at Beyond India for a celebration welcomed and seated promptly without a reservation.
Food & service lived up to expectations was very flavoursome but not overpowering in taste, quick delivery of our order.
Both of us will in future book as to not miss out on this dining experience. Thank you.
