Beyond Bouldering Keswick

Awesome place, have spent a few weeks with a year 11 and 12 PE class at beyond and Liz has been the best coach!

Solid community vibe about this place. A nice range of skill level climbs and even when busy everyone is polite and you still are able to have a fun time. If you’re lucky you’ll even get a couple of pats in with some climbers dogs too!

Helpful staff. Very welcoming atmosphere to the beginner with plenty of people willing to help and give tips.

Bouldering is so fun! Beyond was my first experience bouldering, I couldn't have been happier either! It was so good that I'm pretty much addicted, one of my favourite activities ever!

LOVE this place Even had a hot chocolate afterwards and it was bomb - creamy and super, super hot like I'd requested! Enjoy the workouts - no more boooring standard gym's.

People were so helpful and passionate about their job. First time climber and still had heaps of fun at a low skill level.

Good range for beginners to high level bouldering. Staff was very nice and helpful with tips and pointers and overall good atmosphere

Staff didn’t explain the rules. So the kids were just climbing randomly until a
Patron explained the rules and techniques.

Great open space with interesting wall configurations. Good for beginners to more experienced climbers with a variety of climbs. The climbs are changed fairly regularly so coming once a week there is always going to be something new.

Really loved the setting and fantastic atmosphere. Friendly staff and great set up for the gym upstairs as well. Would have given 5 stars except this gym is in desperate need of a chalk eater. I was covered head to toe in chalk and dust after being there for 45 minutes, was the dirtiest I have ever been in a gym before! That and maybe adding a shower room would be amazing. Overall great experience, and great people. Definitely recommend.

A top-tier bouldering gym filled with friendly people and a fun atmosphere. Everyone's always out to help you improve and beat the next boulder.

I didn't climb, kids loved it though. A wide variety of abilities and experience on display. Something for people at every level. A very inclusive space.

Great for any level of experience, I went for the first time and found plenty of routes that were a good level of difficulty for me. Staff are friendly and will help you get started. Your forearms will burn the next day though.
