BBQ Buoys

Calm waters, a platter with meats, cheese and fruit and a couple of beers. We didn't go for the bbq option. We were a group of 10 and we fit comfortably. 1 person needs to sign up to be the driver. The bouy moves really slowly. The bouy has a shade canopy but in the afternoon sun it will only cover half the passengers at a time. Wear a hat / be prepared. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Thanks to the wonderful friendly and helpful staff of BBQ Buoys, had a great time on Saturday night celebrating a birthday. What a fun time!

Wow was one of the best days with family in ages.
Just a great 2hrs on The Torrens River.
Cooked our BBQ Supplies on the side of the river, excellent.
Our pre ordered drinks where the right amount for the length of time.
Highly recommended, and will use again.

Friendly and informative staff who welcomed us for this magical experience. We did the 7 o’clock tour and enjoyed the beautiful lights of Adelaide Oval and the North Terrace Riverwalk. The view of these from the Torrens amazing.

Nice people, Great concept but the boat seemed to be held together with duct tape and our motor stopped going forward. Some maintenance should be done.

We had a great day just cruising along the River Torrens. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The whole experience was amazing and would recommend this outing to anyone looking for a relaxing time on the city.

Enjoyable evening and activity. The wines on offer were good but a bit more choice would have been appreciated. The staff were very helpful. Could have done without the ambush for pics for their social media promo.

Firstly the staff here are amazing. Coming down to meet us on the far end of the river just to take some photos for us was a great touch!

Quite pricy but reasonable if you share the cost with a few mates.

Not many experiences in Adelaide like this one!

Great experience cruising the Torrens at sunset with the Festival Centre on one side the the noise from the crowd at the Big Bash on the other.
Great service from the staff that made the experience easy and enjoyable. Will definitely do this again.

What a great way to spend a sunset evening! The buoys have an engine so you can cruise up and down the river and even if you’ve lived here your entire life it is a chance to see the city from a different angle. If you’re a tourist, then it would be even better! Great fun and can be as relaxing or as loud/laughter as you like. Options werent just bbq but you can also just have a table and sit and enjoy a picnic and drinks. Staff are very friendly and helpful, overall highly recommend!

Amazing day out! Well organised and so much fun. A definite must do in Adelaide. Can't wait to do this again!

An amazing experience, got to see the sunset while relaxing on the river Torrens with family and friends. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, they made this an experience one to remember. Would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful time I only wish it could have been longer. The buoy was easy to operate and the staff were very helpful. I highly recommend doing this.

Great fun! The staff explain everything clearly. Assistance available if required. Safe, relaxed, comfortable. We enjoyed bbq on the boat. Lovely experience sailing up the Torrens from Adl Zoo/Frome Road to weir.

Would highly recommend!
Was SO much fun and they make sure you fully understand everything before you board.
We chose to do the 7pm and it was absolutely beautiful getting sunset whilst onboard.

Great way to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary.

Rented a buoy for 6 although I think they gave us a free upgrade to a 10-person buoy, so there was plenty of space. Brought our own food to cook on the grill. Everything was provided (speakers, trash bags, utensils) so it was a very low-stress, carefree, fun experience. Really enjoyed it! Definitely a good group activity.

Had a great time doing the bbq buoy for my birthday! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating, even when I had to make some changes to my bookings. Can’t recommend them enough and would love to do it again!
