Ballaboosta Burnside reviews
27The food and service were pretty good, but the fact that they try to hide a 10% Weekend "holiday surcharge" in tiny, light grey font on the menu left a bad taste. Just be honest, don't try to squeeze your customers more and hope they don't notice.
Ballaboosta! What can I say? From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the service, ambience and food was out of this world. Thought we ordered too much but it was perfect. Cauliflower to skewers and the lamb flatbread were all divine. Thank you to the staff, they friendly service was impeccable and I highly recommend getting the toblerone cheesecake (to take away of course) was ️ ️ ️ ️ ️. I’ll be back before I leave Adelaide that’s for sure! Thank you so much!
Food and Service was exceptional. The atmosphere is good, but it can become noisy at times.
A few years back, I tried dinner and loved it. Today, we did our 1st breakfast visit, and it was amazing. The service was very quick, and the staff were great as always and deliciously amazing food!
The food was decent enough except the service was awful. Waitresses failed to take our order until the chef directed them to (we were waiting over 20 minutes), failed to give one of our guests their drink and had to remind them, didn’t give another guest full cutlery and didn’t clear the dishes from our table or offer dessert (we had finished eating for over 20 minutes in an empty area of the restaurant, it was obvious that we had concluded our main meals). Ended up leaving when we would have preferred to get dessert. Won’t be going back again. Try going to the Ballaboosta in town, you might have more professional service.
A great place to meet anytime of year, but really great in the wintry months when the pizza oven helps warm the whole room, just as the food warms you from within! Came here for my birthday lunch and had the best time! The Hearty Lentil soup was DIVINE, the right amount of spice, and full of flavour. I think my mouth is still watering about it.
Stand out decor: The chairs HUG you in that perfectly comfortable way (and I'm a human with a decent butt that usually is opposed to snug seats). The day they change up the chairs I hope to be there to take them home because I adore them.
Really enjoyable atmosphere, we sat outside under cover on a sunny day and ordered a few of the dishes to share. Fantastic foods. A favourite was the cauliflower, absolutely delicious, great service.
The chicken noodle soup is hearty and delicious. All food was fresh with beautiful flavours. A few stars to gain with respect to making the welcoming experience clearer upon entry to the customer. The layout of tables makes manoeuvring around them uneasy and awkward. Oh and please do not hover or clear the plates and glasses until finished. Give the customer space to enjoy.
Our authentic woodfire pizzas were absolutely divine, fresh, geneeously sized and GF! Front of house were courteous, while the atmosphere was warm and stylish.
Food was delicious and the service was lovely despite it being really busy.
The orange juice was a bit pricey ($8.50) but it was fresh and delicious therefore worth.
Definitely will visit again ️
Yaz the barista is a five star coffee man!
Great coffee, great service. Fish was delicious and the sausages mouth watering. Nice sitting outside. Must see spot!
Nice place. The day we dined our fatoush salad didn't have any crispy Lebanese bread pieces but other than that, great service and delicious food.
Service was not good. Not sure what was going on but it took too long between when we sat down and when someone took our order. Took a while for our drinks to arrive. Then 2 meals came out and about 15 minutes later the third one arrived! We sat at the little outside patio area and it was a bit noisy as the restaurant is right at a busy roundabout. Food was good though.
The outside appearance makes hard to guess it is a Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant, but the food is simply delicious. We tried a variety of small dishes and were impressed by each one. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and inviting. We will definitely be returning for more.
Food was fantastic! Service average, they forgot one of our orders. Price? Inflated to say the least. The food gets them over the line though.
Went for a girls breakky (plus one bub) as soon as the waiter saw we had a pram he changed the seating area that we had booked to make it easier for us and was so accommodating to open up doors and access to get the pram in and out easily. The coffee was great and the guy who looked after us made sure the coffees kept coming and had a great sense of humour. Not just the standard hi here's the menu and bye. Food was lovely! So flavourful and felt nourishing too.
First time visiting this lovely establishment. Everything is fabulous…Can’t wait to go back Highly recommend! 10/10!
The food was good also not value for money for the portion size We got but the service was bad we got food before our drinks which was two orange juice and we are still waiting for them
The food is nice, but the portions are not too large. Service is good if you don't change your order. We modified our starter, and we got it after our main. The desert was top-notch
Amazing service and great atmosphere. Some elements of the food could have been improved upon in terms of execution but overall delicious. Would recommend the mediterranean cauliflower with tahini and the fasoulia.
