Bakery On Linden reviews
35 I stop in around 10 to 11ish, at the beginning of every month prior to doing a gardening job at Hahndorf. My fuel is the same each time.
1 x chicken pie, 1 x steak & pepper pie and a small coke no sugar (yes, I hear u say, why bother with the no sugar, if you're consuming all those pie calories). Why? Because I burn them off after 3 hrs of hard slog.
Anyway, and more importantly, the bakery has great products. The staff are friendly and they make you feel like you will want to go back, again and again and again, and that's what I do!
Keep doing what you're doing as it works.
Three of these.
Sausage roll was delicious, coffee was pretty good too. Lots of seating and nice shop, plenty of savoury goods and if you like sweets (donuts!) then this place has it all too!
It is the best bakery in Adelaide, best quality bakery and price, great staff, great location. Must visit you will not be disappointed.
A great bakery! Good variety of pies, pasties, sausages rolls and donuts, cakes, etc etc etc. Some neat inside tables too. Very good prices. Easy parking too, so we'll worth a visit.
Great sausage rolls and friendly staff. Sometimes the pasties are a bit dry though. But otherwise, good food.
It’s my favourite little bakery locally, all their hot food is good, donuts are delicious and it’s near my house. What more could you want? It’s also very modern looking and fantastic employees.
Unfortunately, the large fruit bun we purchased for $6 was very dry as though it was made the day before. I called to let them know, however there was no mention of a refund or exchange. The pie and Kransky were lovely though.
I had a fantastic experience at this bakery this afternoon. I stopped in for two take away coffees and was greeted by a lovely young staff member who was cheery, engaging and clearly loving her work. I watched her happiy make my coffee whilst humming to the music playing and that instantly brightened my afternoon. With a 5 month old in hand the staff member then helped me carry my coffees. Hats off to this great service.
I was having a bad day today and feeling very low. Popped in to get some easy dinner for my kids. A random act of kindness by the owner (I think) meant so much to me. When you are struggling, the kindness of strangers can make a difference. Thank you.
One of the best bakeries in South Australia, the staff are always lovely even though it can get pretty crazy in there at lunch time, the BEST sausage roll I've ever had
Coffee great, but the chunky beef pie was even better. Probably the best I've ever had. Parking also pretty good.
Rude staff, average food and just felt like an inconvenience just being there waiting to be served. I waited for about 10 minutes while the owner (I’m assuming) was talking out the back with the other worker and received a pie that looked like it’d been through a thunderstorm And an extremely stale doughnut that I can assume had been there for a few days.
Always pleasant and great food, I have even had the door opened for me by the staff on my way in, now thats service!
The pies and pasties are good and well worth the money but skip the bacon and egg breakfast. It is a cold premade roll with a precooked egg on top and barely cooked bacon they give a quick zap and then put on a plate, slightly less appetizing than the subway reheat food. Inconsistent would be my overall impression
Great food. Had cheese & bacon sausage roll. Twice the size of other bakery rolls. Always stop on our way home to Bordertown.
