I haven't been there for a few years. My biggest disappointment was they no longer make their own cakes. The quality and selection were good but there is nothing like home made!

Definitely worth a visit. The whole area is beautiful and very exciting to explore. The cafe dining options are pricey and a little uncessarily pretentious, in my opinion, but still decent quality food.

Excellent service and Homemade cakes.
Awesome Iced Coffee and Tea was a lovely blend not a tea bag

Wonderful botanical gardens displaying Australian native flora and fauna. Arrive early morning to see colourful native bird species amongst the trees. Lovely cafe serving delicious breakfast and lunch, along with a gift shop. Well worth a visit to appreciate and/or learn about the Australian landscape and it's biodiversity. Terrific initiative. Free entry

Was ok, but lots of dead plants, overgrown and weeds which distracted from the enjoyment of the gardens.

The gardens are a great place to visit. There are as the name suggest a myriad of different arid country plants. Great parking and picnic areas with drinking water. The Cafe was wonderful. Courteous staff, reasonable prices. Good coffee and they even cut my cake in half so I could share easily. A very nice gift shop, but somewhat expensive.

We bought a quantity of eremophilas from the nursery and they are doing really well in our Australian native garden at Hawker

The gardens themselves are ok and worth a wander, but the Cafe with it's Devonshire tea was lovely, with a beautiful outlook to the ranges to marvel at and little birds helping themselves to leftovers after people leave the tables. Most enjoyable.

Such an amazing place to walk around, loved the information of what aborigines used the native plants for.
The bird hide is a great idea. We went into the visitor centre and had some delicious morning tea. Well worth a visit.

If you love plants its worth the look. Me personally not my cup of tea but hubby loved it very busy when we were there.

Great spot for a coffee and lunch. Outside seating for warm days and inside for the scorching hot days. Decent food selection and a range of cakes for dessert. Staff are lovely and the orders came out quick.
As a bonus, there is also an information centre and plant nursery with native plants attached to the same building.
Great place for anyone passing through or any locals of the area.

Lovely cafe with great service and high quality food. Try the quandong cake and/or the chai latte cheesecake - best cakes I have ever had.
