Arz Charcoal Chicken reviews
72Ordered ab pack with mix meat. Marinated beef was so badly marinated. Im not sure if it was cooked too much or was meat not fresh but it was very chewy like rubber. Chicken meat was like shredded boiled chicken. Fries were soaked in too much salt. Absolute zero taste. Couldn’t even eat it with that much sauces. Spoiled my money, not going back and not recommended.w
Had to pick up some ordered chickens for a function, but miscommunication and chickens not even prepared for cooking! Fortunately Norwood chicken shop saved the day with tasty freshly cooked chickens ready and available. Evidently the chickens at ARZ are quite nice, I'll try them another day
Amazing food
Must try if you a charcoal chicken lover️
Great customer service
Thank you
Getting rid of my usual chick and chips shop and going here from now on. So good to to have authentic charcoal flavours on take away chicken.
The lady who served me was so kind and great at her job, food was amazing! We got a large order for 6 people last Saturday everyone loved it
This place saved us after a late road trip back from Robe. Delicious char grilled meats and wraps. Licensed too! Magic.
Waste of money. Was looking forward to juicy, flavourful charcoal chicken.
What I got was SO dry and burnt to a crisp. Inedible. Won't ever be going back.
Went with family to try it, was absolutely amazing, everything we had was faultless, the chicken tastes like nothing I've had before, I don't know what she puts on the chicken but my God it's awesome, kibbe was my highlight, as well as the fatoush an tabouleh, my wife even said it tastes like being in Sydney again, will definitely be back again an again
Absolutely best Lebanese food. Their baklava and other desserts are amazing too.
Wonderful service, highly recommend
I used to eat here regularly, if the chicken is cooked fresh and hot it is nice, lately I noticed they re-heat already cooked chickens over the coal.
Rude old lady at the counter. If you want to wait for a lifetime to grab your food. Then go here otherwise there are much better restaurants around.
Inedible. Got a schwarma for lunch. Over charged - it says $11.50 on the board, was charged $12.50. When it arrived, was inedible. Gave it back. Will never eat here again
Amazing charcoal chicken - took me back to Granville in Sydney - will definitely be back for more!
Just picked up my first feed from here - so much flavour. And warning for the treats - almond biscuits - addictive! Great spot!
I ordered a takeaway falafel meal. It took 20 minutes to be ready. The falafel were great and humus yummy, but not much of it. They had run out of tabouli, so they offered Greek salad that was not very fresh. I won't go back.
Coming from UAE, having tasted all kind of middle eastern and Lebanese food, in hunt for a similar taste in Adelaide, reached to this restaurant, but was not up to the expectation because, the Lebanese Chicken Wrap was too dry (Very less garlic sauce and chicken was pretty dry and hard to chew.),
ordered half charcoal chicken, some parts of the chicken were really good and juicy (Most parts), but the rest was too dry.also, a part of the portion had the coal from the grill stuck to it.it was not so great but Okayish (Manageable). Went with the hyped reviews but not up to that.
Thank You:)
Had bad experience 1st time, still gave them a chance and they took only 35 mins to serve me the basic sandwitch and it was not even busy.and boy not a single word oof apology/courtesy. Never recommending this place to anyone.
WE LOVE ARZ! Joumana and her husband are wonderful and hospitable. The food is authentic and generous servings. Try the garlic dip and baba ganoush.everything made onsite fresh!
Me and a group of friends dined in and first we shared a selection of dips which came with a couple of types of pickles. It's here I have to add that everything is homemade and delicious!
Then we had a beef dish drizzled with a tahini sauce. There was so much of it that those who ordered it couldn't finish it! We also had a chicken dish which was cooked over the coals with lovely and subtle spices and it came with really tasty chips. The garlic sauce that came with the chicken was something new for me. I had never tried anything like it before. Once again the flavour was subtle, not over powering and so creamy.
I enjoyed my experience so much that I will definitely revisit this casual diner again and again. If I don't dine in next time I'll certainly get take away.
Enjoy folks.
