American Burger Bar

Just tried our local ABB for the first time. Took advantage of a promo special with the Texas Cheeseburger / Chips / Drink. Ordered online which was easy. Burgers were fresh and tasty. Chips actually crispy. A small drink helped wash everything down nicely. Luckily the outlet is only 5 mins walk from where we live and it's situated next to a decent neighbourhood reserve so we sat and ate our food there. We will be back. So much more convenient than down to Smithfield for the 'big two' and better quality.

Amazing food and great customer service. Usually order every Friday fortnight and always as good as the first time. And love the monthly deals they do. Definitely recommend them

Currently running an absolute scam through uber eats. Doubled the price of their texas cheese burger and boston chicken burgers from $9.90 & $10.90 to $18.50 but advertise them as 2 for 1 "save $18.50".

Also blocked me on facebook after i msgd them about it. Clearly aware of what they're doing.

They talk to loudly it’s annoying to have a lunch date when u can’t even here ur self but the food is great they just needa learn to respect to customers when they’re in the shop by being quieter as people are trying to eat and have a good lunch

Both the chicken burgers I ordered were fresh and cooked to perfection. The new BB’s special sauce has an amazing flavour and pared amazing with the crispy chips. Would definitely return!

Popped in a couple days ago as I was seeing their page all over my Facebook feed and being a chef and a burger n chip lover, was very excited to enjoy it with my 2 eldest boys. Overall, was average but wouldn't go back. Service was nice and the lady serving us was very friendly, the shop was very clean, the chips had a nice crunch to them and the taste of the burgers was nice. My big negatives was the meals themselves was expensive and for what i paid for them, the meal size was small and I also thought the chips were under seasoned. Personally I've had better burger meals at pubs that were of better size, taste and better seasoned and unless things change, I wouldn't bother going back

The perfect burger at a reasonable price. This location knows it’s service is important and it shows order was correct and food was fresh.

The pricing information is incorrect. The staff didn’t t even know how much to charge me that I had to tell them how much my own order was. What’s worse? They grossly overcharged me and argued with me about the calculated price. They also have a surcharge for every payment, but would not specify how much the surcharge was.

I ordered the "Cheese " burger and I was more than happy with it. The staff were super friendly and the food was prepared for our pick up at 6pm perfectly. The beaf patty was delicious, perfectly cooked and juicy. The burger buns were soft and the chips had a crunchy outside with a hot and soft inside with a little bit of a kick as well (Not overpowering at all). Overall I would 100% recommend giving them a try as the food outstanding, definitely will be back again.
