Amalfi Pizzeria Ristorante reviews
80Great experience Italian dinner, different Italian tests that pretty unique and features for the restaurant and was so clouded that's time were wouldn't mind to wait about 30 mins for food. But 30 mins after we had received dishes the staff came to informed us about the time that we had to finish by 10 mins because the other customers were waiting.
Amalfi is one of my favourite restaurants in Adelaide. The menu is amazing and all the food is absolutely delicious. If you ever want a delicious bowl of pasta, Amalfi is for you!
The first time we were invited by our agent to dine here for lunch, and it was a way back in 2018. We had a wonderful lunch, but, we were too focus on our talk and discussion and less on foods.
We recognized soon after our lunch that it was one of the best place to have had lunch. Their pizza, pasta and all the entrees were amazingly good.
Now we are back to this restaurant again, and we also brought our kids. We want them to know what and how foods and good taste of food can rejoice their life with full of joy and wonderful moments to cherish them life long good health.
We got Ragu Pasta, Caprissioca pizza, and few others from their menu. Their staffs were super fine, and prepared food especially paying attention to peanuts and nut free. Note - please make sure that you tell the chefs clearly if your kids and anyone have allergic to any foods.
Ragu pasta sauce was amazingly thick, meat were tender and very easy to eat. We are Japanese, small stomach, so the main course was good for 2 people to share. Caprissioca pizza was very good with lots of mushrooms, cheese, salami and olives.
We had a wonderful time, and enjoy our foods fully.
The pizza with everything was really good, about 30 bucks but enough for 2 people to enjoy with a starter or appetizer.
One of the best Italian meals we've ever had. Great service and wine list by the glass just caps it off.
This is definitely a great restaurant to book into. The food, the staff, the atmosphere and the prices are all what you want. It's a popular spot and always busy but the service is fast.
The kitchen is open and the vibe is like a big Italian family feast with a room full of people you know. We loved the noisy chatter and the cheery scene when we walked in. It's great for small groups or couples but it is quite loud so a bit hard for intimacy!
Our group had pizza and pasta, both were great. The pizza are not huge but enough for one. The pasta is generous even in entree size.
Book in, you won't regret it!
Customer service was lacking in some areas, as some staff made some snide comments. Couldn't fault the food though. Still very pricy for a small pizza to be nearly $22 though.
Food here is very good but portions are enormous far to much, if you want quite night forget it due to low ceilings the noise is very very loud.
Beautiful meal! Generous portions, incredible flavour, and some of the best pasta we've ever had. The service was excellent and the general vibe of the place was perfect. Cannot wait to return!
We ordered Capricciosa Pizza and Meatball Spaghetti that were beyond amazing. Staffs were so attentive and helpful. Definitely will be back if I have a chance to visit Adelaide again!
The food was pretty good. The price was not bad. Our waiter was run off his feet but kept his cool and was very nice. But we waited and waited and got more hungry and more frustrated and watched endless bags of Uber Eats heading out the door.
Came in on the 12th of December around mid day. The food was amazing. Ordered a small pizza that costed $21.50 and a main size pasta that costed $27.50 which should cost in total of $49. But the waiter charged my friend and I $29.50 each. He totally charged us $59.
I have visited this restaurant for 4 years and every time I came here, the staff are so nice, the pizza and pasta are very delicious. Today I wanna to share this with my brother sister who come Adelaide first time. And it changed a lot and really let me down! When we came in the restaurant, the staff didn’t bring us to the table and ask us where we prefer to sit. We ordered the dishes at the same time as the table next to us, while we just got the pizza and pasta after the next table finished their dishes half an hour!
And my sister and me knew what the pizza and pasta tasted like cuz we’ve been here several times. This time the taste changed! The pizza is too salty and the pasta is too spicy!
I think the restaurant should be better and better instead of become worse. I won’t come here anymore.
Superb food, great portions, coupled with attentive and friendly service makes for an amazing meal experience! If coming around dinner time, try to get a reservation as the place can be quite full!
Ragu brought back fond memories of my Nonna and Nonno's pasta that they would cook for me when I was younger.
This place is consistently the best. Few restaurants can match the authentic, delicious food, the large portions, the brilliant upbeat atmosphere and zippy service. Great wine, Amaro and deserts as well. And the prices are great; always surprisingly inexpensive for so much enjoyment.
Probable the best eating experience i've had in adelaide.food was incredible and the staff are absolutely delightful
This place is a mainstay of the Adelaide restaurant scene. With a Spinachi Pizza so good we went back 3 times! (Once to order the takeaway, twice to pick it up, and a third to bring back the pizza as it had meat on it even after saying we were vegetarian). But, even with the journey back to this lovely, lively establishment a third time in one evening we still rated this place 5 stars as the staff are lovely and friendly and the food delicious. Everyone makes mistakes, and this was by no means a big one. Oh, book ahead, it gets busy on Fridays and weekends!
Dined here around 6.30pm on a Tuesday night and the staff were quite friendly and approachable in service, despite the fact that it was already starting to get busy and lively.
Got the Amatriciana, Which was good, only criticism is it could be a bit spicier.
4.5 stars overall
Nice antipasto but pizza isnt the italian style. Overall it was good food, but we asked to be seated inside 2 times and they kept telling us there was no space, but eventually there was, also for people sitting next to us that asked 2 min later.
