Aldinga Landscape Supplies

I would not recommend Aldinga landscape supplies.we were getting work done at our property our contractor had cancelled an order but they delivered it anyway 2 days after it was cancelled and requested payment from me so i payed them. I was unaware there was an order as i never placed it and now im stuck with 6 ton of rubble and cant use my driveway. The contractor has contacted aldinga landscape supplies about it but they dont want to know about it and have wiped there hands of it if i could give 0 stars i would

Great prices for garden and paving needs and dry firewood. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

Got the premium "veggie mix" about 6 weeks ago and nothing will grow in it. Nothing. We had our second raised garden bed on standby, finally got the mix, slapped in some long cornrows and cucces and zucces but they just won't grow. A new leaf will grow as the old leaf dies.

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone? Surely I'm not the only one who was delivered a bad batch that weekend. Ah well.

You only got the second star due to, about 6 months ago, a mix of compost, loam, and another type of dirt you slapped together because you'd run out of veggie mix.

It was an altogether superior mix, and a hell of a lot cheaper.

I'm having that veggie mix analysed by the Department of Agriculture by the way.

I had the worst experience with these guys: wish I could give NO stars.

We ordered 7 ton Sandy Loam mix on the phone, talked to Steve and paid in full by Credit Card. Steve said the sand will be delivered the same day or the next day. My husband prepared the area where the sand must be dropped off.

Me and my husband both tested positive for Covid and was home all that week. The day after ordering, I heard a loud banging noise in the front yard. When I looked through the window, within a minute of the noise, I saw a huge pile of sand in our driveway. It totally blocked all access to our garage. There was no truck in sight! No attempt was made to contact us before delivery (dumping) the sand. (See photos of sand pile in the driveway)

I called Aldinga Landscape supplies immediately and in distress, talked to Steve. I requested an immediate return of the driver of the truck, to move the sand to the prepared spot. Steve advised me that the driver has other deliveries to do and that he cannot return to us. I explained that we were waiting all day, that the driver did not ring the bell, etc. Steve brushed me off, saying he has other customers to serve. I've asked to speak to the manager and he advised me that he was the manager. Then I asked to talk to the owner and again was advised "he was the owner of the business too. Then I asked for a refund, to use the money to hire equipment to move the 7 ton of sand from my driveway - this was a crisis, since we had no way to use our cars, especially in the light of being sick with Covid and not having the physical ability to move the sand. Steve declined my request and hung up the phone.

Surely we will NEVER use Aldinga Landscape Supplies again. I've said that to Steve and his response was: "do as you like".

Immediately. Knowledgeable staff gave direction and options.

Prices were great.

Delivery was on time, the driver was fantastic. He was great with our kids. Having someone who is polite and give them the time of day was really welcome. Even the dogs loved him!

Went back because I needed more product. Staff again polite and courteous. They even help load into your car.

I’ll be back for any future projects.

Absolutely fabulous service. I ordered a tonne of wood which was delivered exactly on time and placed conveniently close to my wood shed. Fantastic prices and extremely friendly staff. Steve made the process quick and easy purchasing firewood ready for winter. The redgum wood is nice and dry too.
