Al Ru Farm

This is the only review I have given where 5 stars is not sufficient it deserves 7. My daughter was married in the stunningly beautiful grounds and had her reception in the " barn". The food and service was outstanding. The words perfect and magical do not do this place justice. I could not recommended this place more highly.

We stayed at AL-Ru for two nights in the Australia Suite and had a wonderful time. From the fresh bread brought to the door every morning, to the heated pool, beautiful grounds, cosy and comfortable rooms with bright and fun decor, and absolutely peerless generosity of the hosts, our stay could not have been more perfect.

The most amazing staff that I have met, very helpful and can have a laugh with them whilst at a.wedding there, awesome work ladies

Alan and Ruth Irving are the most gracious and humble of hosts, it’s a privilege to be able to share in the beauty and serenity of their glorious property, the gardens and accommodations are breathtaking and it’s a stunning setting for any any special occasion.

An absolutely stunning location. I was attending a wedding here and the staff were so nice and friendly. Very attentive and looked after everyone so well. The gardens we so beautiful and very well looked after. Highly recommended for weddings. We didn't get to stay the night but hopefully we can in the future. The accommodation looks beautiful.

My experiences at Al Ru Farm get better and better each time I visit to photograph weddings. The estate itself is laid out so well, with so many inspiring picturesque spots for photos. The staff always take such good care of me, which tells me they're taking even better care of the official guests they host. I can't find any fault at all with this place and if you're looking for one of the best wedding venues in Adelaide for your special day definitely give Al Ru high consideration!

I just want to thank all your team for the incredible work that you did on Saturday to make Jake and Lauren’s wedding a day to remember. Due to the last minute COVID restrictions we had to quickly change our original plans, but we all managed to create a perfect day that they will remember forever.
Your venue is stunning and so incredibly peaceful, the lovely gardens, the unique accomodation and all the animals that you see around the property.
I will be sure to recommend your beautiful venue to anyone that is getting married.

We had to check out Al-Ru Farm when three people recommended them independently as a wedding venue. The venue has so much personality which gave our wedding day a uniqueness that more commercial venues can’t match. The gardens were spectacular, which attracted plenty of praise from our guests. Ruth was always great to chat with during the many times we swung past in the months leading up to the wedding, and Mardi was awesome, especially when it came to organising the menu options for our cocktail-style wedding. They were also super flexible when it came to decorating the Barn and Hayshed, giving us the freedom to create our own unique look and feel. The cherry on top was the International Suite, which was perfect for the girls to get ready in in the morning as well as us relaxing after our long day and night of partying! Thank you!

One of the most prettist places in Adelaide. One would enjoy spending ur day walking around the beautiful garden. Such beautiful varieties of flowers blooming every season. Al & Ruth are lovely to talk to. Had our wedding there just the best experience, wish I had the days longer to enjoy the stay there?

Best wedding venue in Adelaide. Beautiful grounds, down to earth owners and Milos was kind, easy to work with and helpful even after our magical wedding day. The new accommodation above the barn is just lovely!

Wonderful gardens, so colourful and great venue for special occasions. A joy to walk around the vast estate, relaxing and tranquil. Well worth the drive to One Tree Hill.

We had the most amazing wedding day at AlRu farm. We could not have had it at a location any more perfect. Milos was so easy to work with though the 2 years of planning and he was always there to help answer any questions I had no matter how ridiculous they were. The catering company was amazing and they went above and beyond for us. The day was perfect! Thank you Milos, Alan, Ruth & Team x

This place is an amazing Wedding Venue, they not only have great backdrops for photos but their staff is very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to working together again soon!

Absolutely Fantastic! Thank you AL RU FARM for turning our special day into the Spectacular show it was. We could not have asked for a better venue or staff than AL RU FARM. Milos, you were a great help and a rock for us both. Accommodation on the farm was a big plus, staying for a couple nights to relax and getting ready for our BIG day. Also, a massive thanks for allowing us to have our precious beagle daughter on the farm with us during our ceremony. You's sure know how to make dreams come true.
