Ajisen Ramen reviews
64Ajisen Ramen is probably among the best easy-access, reasonably-priced and tasty ramen in the city. Hardly the best ramen in Adelaide but the convenience of its branches and their prices (and to some extent the variety of menu options) make up for the taste.

Noodles are not ok, eggs are boiled dry, soup tasted like MSG, average customer service
would not recommend
Very polite and friendly customer service. Great food, you get a decent amount for the price. The green tea ice cream and lemon ice tea was delicious, too. Will definitely be returning!
Ate here yesterday food was delicious but waitress brought out what I thought was a side dish to my order after ten minutes waitress come out and said a mistake was made by giving me extra dish and asked me to pay for it upon telling them that was there error she came back and removed the dish from my table. So I presume that it went in the bin. I thought that wrong and rude
Way less than impressive, unfortunately. The eggs were boiled dry, broths had hardly any flavour and with 2 minute noodles the bowls were not worth the price. Lots of cabbage and fresh bean sprouts were the only saviours. Not a good representation of Japanese food.
Great restraunt with lovely food. However you cannot split a bill here which is quite inconvenient especially when you find out at when you go to pay.
This is a ramen store, they sell delicious ramen and other authentic Japanese meals, the prices are good and the food is amazing. Great service and good location
I understand that Ajisen is the fast food version of ramen, but I definitely have better quality Ajisen Ramen elsewhere.
The soup base is as expected of Ajisen, but the rest of the items are not. The egg is not supposed to be hard boiled, the yolk ought to be partially runny. The meat is fairly bland. The ramen still needed a minute or so of cooking, came to me hard and only soften to the right texture after I was at least halfway through.
As with many other comments, the staff were unfriendly.
The ramen is fine for a quick snack but it's not at the level of several other ramen places that have similar prices. I'll still eat there once in a while if I'm near but not a destination ramen.
My favourite place to eat ramen! Their servings were great and I love their paiku ramen and takoyaki. Staffs were accommodating and friendly. Their prices are pretty cheap as well. Perfect for any weather.:)
The ramen noodles are so good I actually asked my friends to mix my ashes with them.
So good. I would recooment the chargrilled ramen.
The broth was flavorless and the noodles felt and tasted like average pasta. The two thin slices if chashu were dry and cold, the egg looked and tasted old. 15 minimum eftpos is silly. The gyoza was nice but not worth 6 bucks for six of them. This is sad because I was hopeful of finding a nice ramen place like those that I found in Japan but this was nothing like it. Staff seemed stiff when I ordered but maybe they just had a bad day.
It is NOT a REAL Japanese flavour ramen at all. It is Chinese flavour ramen in a bad taste. I would NEVER go back to this FAKE Japanese ramen shop again.
Abit tight on space but every thing else was great, yummy food, relatively quick service and not overly expensive
The flavors of the food here take me back to when I was a little boy growing up in Japan, and I'm an American! That's how good the food is! You MUST go here as everything is delicious.
Had a ramen with iced green tea.
Pros: good serving size. Both with nice. Overall tasty.
Cons: pork was average as was the tea. Hard boil egg was not fresh at all.
Not to bad for the price, yet nicer japanese restaurants out there.
Horrible experience overall, staff was Chinese not even Japanese, took ages to understand our order in English, did not get our order right, left us waiting for the right menu to come out with other menus on the table so they became cold. The Chahan was more of a Chinese fried rice, plus you get much less than what you get at an authentic Chinese for an even higher price.
If u looking for poor customer service dinner experience, here is the good place to be.
Food is nice and tasty, however the worst dinning experience with Ajisen remen.
Horrible, poor customer service, staff v rude
Female staff
Threw menu on table
Angry looking face when we asked to sit somewhere more spacious.
Unwilling to bring menu to customer
Yelling from counter, when we ask for menu, saying
"I ALREADY PUT THE MENU ON THAT TABLE! " (4,5 table away)
I just finish the lunch in half hour, I am feeling bad and getting diarrhea now. YES, I still sitting on the toilet when I writing this comment.farewell ajisen.
