Ajisen Ramen reviews
64 It is not authentic ramen,
just a bit commercial level.
Please don’t expect good authentic Japanese noodle. Because I did and it was broken when I got the noodle.
Spaghetti type noodle, msg soup, not a long boiled soup.
Oxidised cabbage.
Oil floating on glass of water.
Mixed up an order, delivered to wrong table, over charged wine $12 for a tiny plastic bottle that came from a Qantas plane. Food was okay.
The food is all good. The texture and taste of noodles are both excellent. Their service is also friendly and helpful.
Food took over 45 minutes to arrive. Pictured is the table absent of said food (which was just average). Genuinely really disappointed.
Great place to eat Ramen in Adelaide, this place is close to Adelaide central train station and also close to bus services to and from Currie Street.
The prices are moderate and very affordable, and the seating arrangement is quite good with nice art designs inside.
The food is also really good, much better than takeaway style food.
The service is relatively quick and staff are nice and helpful.
Try any of the Ramen dishes, you can’t go wrong if you like this type. The Paiku Ramen with the tenderloin ribs is delicious. You can also try the Salmon Ramen which is equally as tasty.
The menu is quite modest, so you can select dishes other than Ramen, but this place is known for traditional and good Ramen dishes.
Amazing from start to finish, cant go wrong with their classic Ajisen Ramen, and the soft shell crab was delicious!
Mislead the customer!
I chose a noddle where it said not to be spicy but when it arrived it was extremely spicy. Impossible to eat! I Complained and asked to change it because on the menu the information was that it wasn't spicy. The answer was no. I had to throw it all away. I paid for a dinner that I was mistaken for and could not eat. I do not recommend Ajisen! Dont go!
Don't come for the ramen if you're after an authentic ramen.
Broth is very watery, flavour is OK. The noodles are clearly packaged spaghetti, wrong sort of noodle for ramen. Definitely not hand made. And the wrong consistency for ramen. Served very soft.
Chashu looked old, like it had been sliced, frozen and then thawed. Only served half a flavoured egg, which was slightly over cooked and not flavoured well anyway. Have definitely had better. Spend your money elsewhere.
Staff were friendly.
Extremely rude FOH staff. No meet and greet. Was told abruptly that they'd sold out and walked off with no apology
Love this place so much. Favourite ramen joint in SA. They have gluten free Udon noodles which are delicious! Would definitely recommend trying the tofu ramen
Very nice staff, the food was well presented and tasty. Can be a bit noisy during busy hours being located in the CBD
It might be a chain, but these guys still make a gorgeous ramen. Delicious thick tonkotsu broth, nice toothsome noodles.
The food in this shop is delicious, and the waiters are very nice. We didn't know that its business hours ended at 9: 30pm, and they asked us to order. We finished at 10: 00pm, and the clerk didn't say anything. When we left, the clerk also said thank you. If it was another restaurant at 9: 00pm, it would be impossible to eat in the restaurant but to take out.
Beautiful meal.wonderful energy.lovely owners and staff. Great price.will be back. Thank you. Lyte 300 Crew.
I'm a Japanese food fan but not a huge ramen fan, but during a particularly rainy weekend I had a main meal here (seafood) and it was delicious. Polite service too. Somewhere between 4-5 stars but as it was exactly what I needed, 5.
Resto is clean and relaxing. Ramen broth is thin and didn't get enough umami. Crab pincer very meaty and tasty. Soft shell crab is bland. Takoyaki is average. Waitress is a little bit confused in taking the order and forgot other order and needed to remind her to repeat the order. Water is placed automatic in the table and you need to ask twice.
One of my favourite ramen places. Food is presented well and tasty with very affordable prices. The staff are very helpful. Enjoyed the octopus balls, dumplings, tempura prawn and ramen. A must try!
A lot of different ramen options on the menu along with other common Japanese dishes. Service was very efficient and my ramen was tasty; I’m not in a position to comment on authenticity.
Soooo good omg U have to try the spicy ramen it was delicious such a good broth ️ Def coming back
On a quiet Thursday lunch, waited for 45mins, didn’t get our order. Asked and was told they had forgotten it. Really, really poor. Was offered a can of coke to remedy the situation. Won’t go back.
