Adelaide Pho

I just had a operation, ordered a combination pho. Could only eat broth, my daughter to eat the rest. Asked waiter for extra broth, ;happy to pay. When the pho didn't contain extra broth the owner came to our table in the mist abnoctous manner. She said no extra soup! I did say the waiter did not say this. She started telling the waiter off in Vietnamese? I felt confused as to how aggressive she behaved. Shocking behaviour over a inch of extra soup. Must have had a bad day? Spoilt my evening and imbarassed my daughter.

Not very happy with this one in all honesty.went in there and ordered me a combination pho, but the prices have gone up. Not only that, but the service was quite rude and unfriendly. When I got my food (like take away, next door) it came with all sorts of weird meat products that I don't usually get with my pho, and I was disappointed and dissatisfied. Adelaide Pho, please collect your things.hmph.

Waiter brought us an extra avocado smoothie that we didn’t order and made us pay for it. Wouldn’t take no for an answer. Unbelievably rude.
Plus portions are smaller than what you can get at other viet restaurants in the suburbs especially for its higher price.

Classic beef Pho was very tasty. Choice of 2 sizes, both are very generous portions. Simply decor, attentive service and realistic pricing. Wine list was simple, yet covered most options. Delightful

Great Phó served quickly. One of the best phó restaurants in the country. I'm a self confessed Phó tragic (gotta have it as often as I can!) and this is one of my favorites. Fresh herbs, perfectly cooked meat and with the most delicious broth going. My mouth is watering just typing this review.

It was such an unpleasant experience. We found hair in a noodle and asked the staff to change to a new one. However, there was also hair in the new noodle. Other than that, when we asked one of the girls to bring us a small bowl, she looked really impatient and annoyed. We feel really disrespected and offended, though the owner was quite nice and apologised to us afterwards.

Here on a Saturday night, it feels like all of Adelaide is here. Extremely busy with diners continually coming through the door. Restaurant itself is very dark and basic - definitely not anything fancy or trendy. Just as well the food makes up for it - pho is clean, clear and flavourful with a decent meat to noodle ratio. Looking over at other tables, it seems the combination rice dishes are also very appealing and generous. The sort of place you’d go to with familiar company, not that you’re hoping to impress!

Many different varieties of pho. A busy lunch spot that’s always delicious with fast, friendly service.

Favourite pho in adelaide by far.the pho comes out super quick and is delicious.well worth the price, and the serving is massive!

I know of Adelaide Pho from friends, I've been told it's an institution and must-try for home-style Vietnamese classic food. The quintessential pho. I had the combination beef pho. The soup is tasty, the fresh herbs fragrant, and the bean sprouts so sweet and crunchy. But the best part of the dish was the rice noodles. They were so silky soft but firm enough that it doesn't fall apart or become soggy. The experience was definitely very good. I was full from the soup so I will have to come back and try other dishes next time.

Absolutely sensational! Although the Pho is their strength I opted for a pork combination and was amazed by the portion size and obviously the flavour, freshness. Just moved to the area and this place will definitely see me often

On a recent visit I was quite disappointed that the bowl of Beef Pho has become a smaller serving and the beef balls were sliced so thin like postage stamp paper thin, unlike other Vietnamese restaurant the beef balls are chunky. The positive side the flavour is authentic and the service is good.

Pork is ok, would be better with less fat. Pho is good if it compare with others pho in city. However, Large pho is only regular size in other restaurants.

It was ok, good service, seated straight away & food came out real quick. Had the roll your own cold rolls & spring rolls.
Cold rolls came with very basic filling, mostly lettuce, noodles & a small amount of pickled carrot & cabbage (which way way to chunky for cold rolls & 90% cabbage) tiny amount of coriander & 3 mint leaves.
Spring rolls 3 for $6, real thin but had big chunks of prawn which made up for lack of any other filling.
Bill came to $40 for the food & 2 cans of coke.
Still want to go back to see if pho is worth the hype.

The Pho was good but the other meals on the menu tasted and looked more like Chinese food. It didn't seem genuine Vietnamese.

Amazing food, I recommend beef noodles soup. And good service, every stuff have lovely smile. Keep quality please, we will be back soon.

To be honest, I use to be a regular customer, at least once a week for dining or take away. But I will NEVER go back there. Cos lady boss doesn’t respect regular customer, randomly increasing price, one tiny soup was free when dining with rice dishes, however, she claimed was $2 when I place my $50 food orders, but the staff used to charge $1. When customer try to ask reason, lady saids, “ I am the boss, I decided! ” Well, I do respect that! One dollar is nothing But just question if that would be a RIGHT way to talk! Shocking for such customer service! Poor experience!

Quick service, great food. We walked in for take away and were out the door with our dinner less than 15min later. Generous serves and good quality

Had Chicken Pho, large serve & quick service but broth lacked flavour and spice. Chicken was very average quality.

Amazing Pho and amazing service, very quick preperation. 100% recommend. I have recommeded this resturant to all my friends.
