Adelaide Festival Centre reviews
36 Delta Goodrem rocked this House DOWN.
BEST Show I've ever been too.
Staff were SO amazing, easy access to Seating and just a real bloody great Night.
Enjoyed Mary Poppins but was disappointed again when it comes to buying a drink line up ridiculous had to go out of the venue to buy water as the water dispenser was out of water at interval we pay good money for tickets so expect to be able to buy a drink you need at least 2 bars on each floor
Saw delta tonight awsome show and sound was good and lots of parking easy to get to our seats
Was a great venue to see the music festival, lighting in the eyes on a few occasions but overall great place to catch a show
A terrific venue. Well organised and a comfortable place to enjoy entertainment. The car park can be very busy and patience is an advantage.
Having a Reno atm.what Iconic vision Don Dunstan had. I received my Mathias Medal here & sung when I was in school.today we rollerbladed the perimeter in our onsie outfits.
The theatre was great pink Floyd was fantastic but the parking is a nightmare. No clear signs showing exits out of the park. I ask what if a fire happens and can't get out.
Got soaked going from under cover car park to Foyer. Should have been undercover. Stuck in car park for an hour due to truck getting stuck across internal carpark roadway. No movement.
Went to the opening of the Guitar Festival. Seats ad per usual a.bit worn.out and daggy.but.the acts including because of Covid travel an ensemble of students fro 8 to 82 was joy to listen too. Another act was a teacher who was in the audience being persuaded to perform on stage. Great. Plus the director getting his cello playing wife to join him on stage as a duet. Excellent. Also, going back in after the intermission, just in front of me was the state's Premier talking to one of the top barristers, where else but in Australia would that happen. Top afternoon.
Its been a while but the Cabaret festival delivered with L" hotel a raunchy piece of french style cabaret, set in a club restaraunt which included champange and cheese.
Some very cool physical theatre, and some mega vocals. Well done!
They still haven't worked out quite how to move the crowds out after shows finish. The area around the Festival Theatre is still under construction so it's a windy passageway to get to Eos or the Intercontinental.
We haven't been to the Adelaide Festival Centre for a long time. We attended The Adelaide Cabaret Festival which is currently on in our fair city. It was very entertaining and well worthwhile.a great night!
The venue was fantastic. But people being people, a lot took off their masks soon as the lights went down. I was surrounded by maskless people front back left and right of me. Just goes to show that some people just don't give a rats bum about the seriousness of this virus. BUT apart from all that the show by Alan Cummings was absolutely marvellous.
Went and saw Rockwiz Eurovision show. Was fantastic, funny, entertaining and a great night out in a awesome venue
The theatre and its facilities are terrific but the new underground park wasn't easy to 'negotiate'. Access to pay stations was poor
Turned up to see an event and no one home! Called the number listed and no answer. Walked around to find someone to ask what was happening and no one in sight.
Poor form Adelaide Festival Centre
Nice place but overflowing with pretentious older generations who look down at their younger peers with cringes and stiff faces. When simply walking around inside you are greeted with false smiles as staff and patrons alike look you up and down like you do not belong within their elite' circles. If only they weren't so judgemental and presumptuous more people might enjoy this fine centre.
Absolutely superb place to visit and attend shows. Beautiful scenic area in the city and very well organised by the staff. Love SA
My only complaint is the outside signage at night needs to better lit up. I got lost, but sapol were ever so helpful and assisted me. It really needs some serious lighting up.
