Adelaide Farmers' Market reviews
63Very cool place to visit! Fresh produce & herbs, although very expensive! Better off going to the Central Market.
Adelaide farmers market at Show Grounds is fantastic but can't believe I spent so much money. Would recommend anyone to go on a Sunday morning.
You can park off street free if you are willing to walk a bit. Lots of fresh fruit, veg, breads, cheeses, meats, smallgoods, pre prepared meals and desserts. Quality is very high but so are the prices. Worth it though.
Adelaide has such amazing produce to offer, breads pastries, meats eggs fruit and vegetables. All wow. Coffee was great too.
Intended on visiting Poh's stall for mother's day. Alas the line up looked at least half hour and didn't feel had time or a bucket of kid's patience so headed to the indoor pavilion instead. Bought some delicious croissants, garlic mettwurst for Ron, tried the delicious honey cake, bought fresh pasta, vegies and there was still a lot of other stuff to explore for next time. I was impressed. Parking was free and easy too.
The best selection of anything gourmet. Get there early for jamface, the stall is right at the entrance and the line gets really long. Make sure you don't miss the stalls inside the hall and go and try some honey cake, its out of this world.
Over run with active wear and birkenstock wannabes now get in bright and girly if you are actually there for fruit and veg
Great variety of vegetables meat fish and small goods.and fantastic pasties.oh and great to see Poh being so amazing making treats
Farmers market is the best. Fresh fruit & veggies galore, nice relaxing atmosphere, pleasant hubbub, tasty food, good tea and coffee, organic shiyt, friendly stall holders! It's just great, fantastico, top notch!
I go every week and I genuinely look forward to it each week.
There used to be more buskers, & it's a little less pleasant now there aren't really any. But still, 5 stars and a high five t'you good sir.
Nice atmosphere. A huge variety of food and drinks. Great organics, vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly and wholesome. The carpark charge is a bit rude but there is Street parking if you don't mind a walk.
Always beautiful produce here by our local South Australian farmers and businesses. Everyone should strive to support South Australia as we truly do have the most amazing range of foods. The freshly baked breads are a favourite, specifically olive bread.
Best coffee and great egg and bacon rolls for mid morning brekkie. Loved that atmosphere, great place to meet friends and do some great shopping.
This place is awesome. Great produce, great service, great place to even have lunch and sit on the grass or a table if preferred. Everything is so fresh!
First time visitor to both the showgrounds and the markets. Diverse selection of food, drink and produce stalls. All food tastes catered for.
We had a delightful Sunday strolling through all the market stalls. Very fresh produce and large variety of flavours and spices that would satisfy any gourmand.
The Farmers Market is an important part of our life. Not only the produce quality and the local shopping, but also the social connections.
Quite a few stalls still closed for the holidays but those vendors who were there, as always, have a great range of fruit and veges, meat, bread and other produce and products. Always try to visit when I'm in town and always end up buying more than I'd planned.but it's all great stuff
FRESH! Fabulous stall holders. Loads of colourful, South Australian produce fruit and vegetables, meat, cheese, yogurt, eggs, milk, seedlings, bush icecream, pasta, juice, dried fruit, nuts sooo much more. Go and check it o uh every Sunday 7am to 13: 00.
Excellent markets, but sometimes stalls change without notice or they run out of stock quickly. Best to get in early for parking too.
