Aberfoyle Hub Tavern

Sunday evening 9pm and bar staff more interested in closing up and going home than providing service to one table of 7 customers. Pathetic.

The seniors menu only had 1 meat meal and that was medallion which is too thick for some people with arthritis to cut. No schnitzels either, tho had this on children's menu. The meals we had were lovely but disappointed no choice of meat. Our waitress was a truly lovely girl and very efficient.

Great venue, friendly service. Food was tasty and well cooked/presented. Price was very reasonable for a Sunday lunch. Kids playground also handy for when the kids got bored.

New favourite local place for a delicious and reasonably priced meal. The staff are extremely welcoming, the food is consistently excellent with a good rotation of specials and the atmosphere is welcoming and homey.

We have been going to the hub Tavern for 10 years now and the only way to describe the food is random unfortunately they have three chefs two of which are very good and one which is not very good, when there’s a certain chef cooking it’s quite bad close to atrocious so roll the dice it’s up to you.

Well priced menu. Food was really good. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Small inside play area for kids.

I had a discrepancy about the wait for my meal l Have discussed my concern with the assistant manager Ian and l am satisfied with the explanation, as I have eaten at the tavern before and had a enjoyable experience. I revoke my posting and am prepared to return for another visit.

Soon to become my local (well in about a year) and the food and service was excellent. Lucky me:)

Its as good as any pub in the area, meals are good and food and beverage pricing are right for area with $5 pints Sat and Sun afternoons

Staff were really friendly. Great kids entertainment area which was quite small but could barely get the kids away (3,5&7yo)! Food was surprisingly good for a suburban pub! We had steak and ribs. We asked for rare and medium rare and it was close to perfect! Ribs were tender. Not my favourite rib flavouring but can't complain. Kids had the ribs as well, haven't seen them eat so much! Great find for a casual meal.

If you take your dog in the drive through they have been known to dispense smackos to all friendly dogs!

The Hub tavern offers a variety of food for an alright price. The food it self is lacking but they make up for it with their prices on alcohol beverages. Friendly staff and good locals make for a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed karaoke night very much! Meals are a great size, very filling and tasty. Staff recognised when our table orders were split by a large group of a dozen or so other customers, made every effort to have our meals come out together

Absolute amazing staff especially Zac made my night so easy friendly and so easy to get along with

View of dumpster bins and rear of shopping centre not very appealing. Food and service were excellent.

Great service. Good value for money. Kids eat free Sunday's. Children's play area. Lovely wood fire in winter.

Only 3 stars due to the staff were doing their best. Food wasn't great. Luke warm surf and turf. Everyone else at our table pretty much felt the same food was very average they even forgot 1 meal. Wouldn't hurry back

Our meal last night was awesome. Our friends were very impressed. Thanks to the chefs Shaun and Tim and our table waitress Sophie.
