Lovely local pub. Service is ALWAYS amazing and friendly. Food is also very good. Great spot to go!

Food was lovely much improved from our last visit which was a few of years ago. Beautiful renovations. Shocked to see the playground no longer there but it certinally opens up the space. Value for money on the meals big portions. I was unable to finish it all. Only down side was our son did not receive his dessert. We waited 20minutes after finishing our main meals, longer since our son had finished his, then asked another 10 minutes and it still not appearing. So we left without having it.

Don't order gravy from here clearly microwaved and I found mine personally paste like!
Knives are like plastic knives ya can't cut anything with them. Especially if you order the steak!
I found the staff to be rude and talking down to an elderly man! Due to the fact he couldn't read the menu properly and was getting confused.
From our experience I can't recommend going here for a meal. Maybe just a beer or two!

Nice fresh meals but portion sizes are very small and left still feeling hungry. Have now come back after you said things would change and still got a kids sized schnitzel. Not happy!

We had a fabulous dinner for Mothers Day. Food and service was second to none. It was our first time at the Hub Tavern and won’t be our last. Ethan and Catie were very attentive and made us very welcome. Thank you for a great night.

Absolutely terrible very small portions, and over cooked. The best part of the is that they still sell Crown Lager over the bar. This is the only reason that I would give them any score at all.
1 out of 10. Not going back there anytime soon.

Haven't eaten there for over a year, could even be 2yrs because the meals had really gone downhill, but I was pleasantly surprised as the meals were all delicious, fresh, beautifully presented and really good value. Oh and fast! The staff were all friendly and helpful and I suggest you check it out, because they've really picked up their game since my last visit. I'm a local, so it's also really convenient! Well done APHT. 10 stars!

Great local pub. Reasonably busy on the night we went but food came out super fast and nice and hot. Chef was nice to do our special request of a garlic prawns topper for our schnitties… was so good! Friendly service and great vibe all around. Would recommend!

Great staff, fun entertaining nights (like karaoke, disco.) great to go with friends.
Edit, 3 years later staff has changed a bunch but still an amazing group of people. Great place for a function, dinner or drinks highly recommended.

Great pub. Good food. Nice people. Great sports bar for a bet. Staff are great too especially that barmaid Jo.

Had a rough couple of weeks dealing with unwell elderly parents so thought we would have a night off and duck across the road to have a schnitty. So now if you want to order off the specials menu you need to scan the QR code at your table as they WON'T take your specials order at the till. That's fine if the camera on your phone allows that. Ours doesn't. Or you need to download a QR scanning app. Which we were unprepared for. All we wanted was a bloody meal out and it became so frustrating we left. Thanks to the staff who just shrugged and were no help at all. We understand now the pub is not locally owned and this is the way 'head office' are doing things now. With a lot of elderly people in the area that enjoy a night off on specials night, seems very unsupportive to a big demographic in your customer base. If you don't want our money we will just take it elsewhere. Having a simply pub meal out shouldn't be this hard.

The service was great and the meals were fantastic thank you guys and tell the chef my beef schnitzel was cooked to perfection the best I have had in a long while. Cheer see you soon

Let me say the Hub Tavern hosted our wedding reception and we could not fault the process from start to finish.
A massive THANK YOU to Taylor who worked her magic and created a romantic and classy atmosphere.
Shaun the chef delivered delicious mouth watering meals that came our perfectly timed. Our guests walked away satisfied and very full.
Ian and staff managing the bar kept the drinks flowing with extra service given when it was time for speeches.
So to you from us we toast to the Hub Tavern with extra stars and hugs.

I gotta say, apart from the schnitty being stock standard (but totally enjoyable), the service is the absolute best. Totally treated with respect, meals out quick. Great night out.

It’s the best place to ever drink at. I love this place to death, seriously couldn’t ask for greater staff and people to talk and laugh with. Food is amazing, drinks are cheap as and are worth every cent when you drink a pint out of them. Will never ever drink at another pub other then the Hub Tavern
