Urban Climb West End

Love west top rope climbing! If you have membership you can bring a friend each month for free! There is also free gym and yoga - a plus! They have just opened a separate bouldering room (massive room) next door.hours of fun.

Always a fun time coming here. Staff are super helpful and always so friendly.
It can get very packed on weeknights.
The only feedback I'd suggest is more cleaning and upkeep of bag storage areas and the fans are layered with thick dust.

I highly recommend this world-class boulder hall - lots of creative boulder problems set by passionate, ever-evolving team.

Urban climb West end has it all! An incredible atmosphere, great climbs and passionate staff - if you love bouldering or rock climbing this is the place to be. The membership includes yoga and gym access which makes the price worthwhile. The latest extension has seen the addition of a cafe with beer, coffee and most notably potato gems hehehe, which is now a lovely hub to catch up with friends, study or work ain between climbs:)

Urban Climb has improved a lot over the last year, the route setting is great and they are resetting more often. Staff are always nice and chatty. Looking forward to the new expansion! Keep up the great work.

This place is good, but it is good just because there is nowhere else to go near the CBD with that many roped climbs. It has become way too busy in the weekday evenings (if you want to have a good sesh without the need to wait for available routes you need to come when they open or during the day when everybody is working) and routes are not changed as often as an intermediate climber would like (it is very hard to train endurance on roped climbs here). Even though all of this is true, staff is usually very nice and membership prices are good and there is a good variety of climbs in many different styles. In addition the lead climbs are great but sparse. Gym facilities are okay (should be bigger based on the number of members). Drinking water is never cold (it may not matter if you like to drink water at room temps), bathrooms are not so clean (well, it is a rock climb gym.never seen an clean bathroom in a rock climbing gym) and it can be quite hot in there.

Joined a week ago with my friend and we loved it. It makes it better that the staff are so helpful and friendly. Urban climb also made it super easy to cancel my membership temporarily as I’m going away for 3 months but I’ll definitely be back:)

Staff have been as good as they can possibly be. The routes are great matts incredible general vibe is really good too. Puts alot of other indoor rockclimbing places to shame.

Great facility and friendly staff. You can spend hours having fund and you get free passes easily as well

Loved climbing here for many years. Excellent routes for any level of experience. Great staff who treat you like a human being and not just an account number. Thanks especially to Jenn for sorting out my membership problems!

Great facilities and experience as a first time rockclimber! However, was not particularly happy with Jenn's attitude towards teaching me how to go about it but explained it to me like I was extremely incompetent.

Amazing community and atmosphere! The climbing is challenging and fun and routes get reset quite frequently. There can be really busy times, especially with large groups doing safety training, but there is never too long of a wait.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and explain everything to get you started on your first visit. You don't have to have any experience, I hadn't been climbing since I was a kid but did just fine, as they have climbs for all skill levels. Could do with more parking as there are only a few parks on site and parks on the street are metered.

Staff and incredibly friendly and make beginners / new climbers feel so welcome! There are a range of different climbs which are colour coded by difficulty. There are only two auto belaying ropes so it's best that you go with a friend.

There's only a small bouldering wall which can get pretty busy especially when children / teens are around. West End is a good place to get a taste for bouldering and see how you like it but I would suggest heading to Milton if you're wanting more.

Good facility with good climbing options. Routes are often quite short however and can get busy. Pick your time to go well so.you can repeat the routes plenty of times.

Good selection of climbs. Induction took very long and had to wait over 30 minutes before an instructor came to carry out the induction process.

This place is amazing! We went during a week day for our first visit so it was quiet, it can get very busy in peak hours (evenings and weekdays), but it's still a lot of fun even when busy. There are plenty of areas to climb and the bouldering wall is great too. Staff are really friendly and helpful, I absolutely love this place and will be becoming a regular for sure!
