Total Tools Ipswich reviews
25 Really really bad service experience for me.
Nothing like the Total Tools at Coopers plains.
My advice is go to any other TT.
Put a click and collect order a month ago I’m still waiting to collect half the stuff I had ordered phoned them today was supposed to get a call back with a eta never got called back I will personally never shop here again
Shout out to Ray, he went above and beyond my expectations on solving an issue for me. I was waiting for the “not our problem mate “ but pleasantly surprised with his solution and working past his knock off time. Thanks again
These guys are an absolute joke, went to another of their stores looking for a chainsaw chain, was told Ipswich had 2 in stock, store rang to check and they were putti g one aside, 40 minute drive to pick up to find they had no stock. Will be sticking with trade tools from now.
Good pricing and the service is excellent - shout out to Tim who has really helped us out a couple of times now with sourcing items and receipts when we are working to a deadline.
Just went in to get my husband's tools he needed and was blown away with the help I received, only just walked in and a lovely man asked what I was looking for I showed him the pictures and found what I was looking for, one of the items I had 4 people looking for it as it was not on the shelf and they found it with in minutes. Such great customer service was so impressed! Thank you to the staff
Store well laid out. I easily found what I was chasing. A good range and variety of brands. Pricing was competitive with other stores. I made my purchase from here after doing my research on-line. The staff member who attempted to assist me had limited knowledge of the product I was wanting to purchase.
A bit busy around 4.30pm on a Tuesday. Only had to wait a few minutes & got help from staff. Great product knowledge. Signed up for the loyalty program.
Most staff attempted to be helpful, with the exception of one.
I overheard another customer ask that staff member whether one could build there own multi-piece Milwaukee cordless kit, to which the staffer answered a flat "No".
The correct answer is: "No, however, one can swap out a number of skins, dependant on kit size. Swap 2 skins in kits containing 6 or more pieces, or 1 skin for smaller kits. "
This iformation was much more helpful to the customer than the flat "No".
While having a wide selection of tools, could extend more with the woodwork range. Though can do special orders online.
I have spent $5,500 last financial alone. Everytime you go into the store it's ridiculously hard to get the staff attention, their more happy to talk between each other or simply stand at the front desk. Once you talk to them it's clear they have no idea what thier talking about. After 4 years of going to total tools Ipswich I won't be back out of principal.
No stars. They say they won't be beaten but would not price match with Hare and Forbes SPECIAL. Had to go to Total Tools Richlands to get the item.
Always great service here, great deals, massive variety of tooling, plenty of knowledge in store.we have been going here since it is opened and will continue to go here
Totally hopeless! Never any stock, picked up a pair of gloves that were in the $10.95 spot only to be told they are $97 at the counter, wouldn't price match despite being sold on a $10.95 rack, rude and ignorant staff.
Tried to return some items and got told they don't do refunds by one employee.
Complained to store manager and my issues was sorted out quickly without issues.
Shouldn't have happened in the first place but they did fix the problem and I got my refund.
Easter Monday trading hours on website states open until 3pm. Got there at 10 past 2 and they were closing up. We were told they were closed. Early knock off!
Extremely average customer service, no one seems to want to help out. Would rather just sit behind the counter
Total tools Ipswich sold me a $1000 air compressor that their salesman told me would do the job. Turned out the compressor was not right for the job and refuse to take ownership of this. I have sent the compressor back 5 times now and now it has broken down again for a 6th time and they still refuse to re credit the compressor. Iron air compressors are just rubbish. I have since started using Sydney Tools, cheaper, better products and good customer service. I did a quote with Total tools Ipswich and Sydney Tools for around 30k worth of tooling to outfit my crews up north. Sydney tools blew them away by about 7k cheaper. Was going to renegotiate with Totals tools and see if they could match, but this air compressor issue has left a sour taste in my mouth. So I gave the order to Sydney tools instead. 1k compressor costs the owner 30k
Terrible place to shop. Hard to get Staff's attention and some customers are allowed to stand for too long at the counter making everyone else wait.
I was in there today the young bloke Greg or Gary was his name? , rude! Too busy texting on his phone to help me out, stood at the counter waiting for him to lift his head. Instead I went up the road to your competitors and bought my makita kit, poor effort total tools, poor effort.
