Great service from the sales rep. Had lots to pick from and he was able to answer all of my questions. Definitely worth visiting if you need new power tools. I purchased a drill driver combo set and I'm very happy with the service.
Just like to make my opinion lound and clear. This place is "total tools" which is EXACTLY what these people are. Total. Tools.
Went into the store to order a part, placed the order with the lady at the front desk, said it would be placed on order and 'will call you Monday'. Waited till Monday to know if the part is avaliable, no phone call.
Went in on Saturday to check if the part was avaliable yet, no part yet - "will call you Monday". Yet no call. This happened for 5 weeks. Not one person could help out with an ordering enquiry. They all seems to be incompetent. We've spent so much money here and never will again. Don't waste your time. Go to Sydney Tools or Trade Tools.

Best store ever. Had some massive issues with TotalTools and got suggested to come here by a tradie that was doing some work at our house. Knowledgeable staff, great store vibe. Had such a good range of gear. Awesome in store music too =]
Have bought online from Total Tools previously but never again. Ordered goods and then had heard nothing for over a week. Emailed service and was advised some goods had been delayed but would be in the shop on Tuesday. Spoke with the Coopers Plains store and the lady advised would be sent out by Wednesday. I advised that I needed them by the Friday as travelling to Sydney on the Saturday. The store sent them out on the Friday which was useless. I made 3 phone calls on the Friday and service I recieved from the general number was useless. Sent emails requesting delivery to a different adress that have gone un-replied to. Called again three times on Monday and Ricky was useless
So no Christmas presents for family and friends. Made me look like the Christmas Grinch.

Never in stock for the things you want, don’t try order things in through store will be waiting more then a month. Even if they say 4-5 days, it’s all bs times that by 4. I don’t know if I’ll be buying more tools from there again.service it below average too.
This store used to be good until you make a decision to get your tool repair. I was waiting for long time and pressed bell more than 3 times no one serve me, they were all busy to sell milwaukee stuff and totally forgot any customer service, I went to trade tool next door can't be happier, store manager order the part to me and fix it this Friday, don't go to this store for any tool repair, during the waiting time another guy told me his milwaukee took over 2 month finally get fixed, it's a joke
Had issues with my Bosch tools and was told Total Tools Coopers Plains was my local repairer. Went ONE MONTH ago and I'm still waiting for my tool. I've called multiple times, and on 3 separate occasions was advised they weren't of the status and would call me back. I have NOT RECEIVED ANY ADVICE IN A MONTH! If you have a choice, avoid this store at all costs!
Update: 3 days after leaving this review, I was contacted and my tool was replaced. Not sure if coincidence or as a result of leaving this review. Star rating has been updated.
You guys are a Joke with this Alan Jones debacle, you get complaints from people who don't even frequent your store and you pull your sponsorship.
Tradetools for me from now on.
Returned a 9ahm battery that was a couple off months out of warranty. The guy behind the service desk was not intrested.
Rang Milwaukee, told them the problem and was advised from Milwaukee to check if the battery had a c- tick logo, advised no it hasn't.
The lady on the phone said to take it back to the store and tell them to open a job to get the replacement organised. Went back in the store, same guy at the service desk. Explained to him what Milwaukee told me. What does this guy do, sends the battery and told Milwaukee it's not charging.
I took it to the store on the 4th of March 2019, last week rang the store to see the progress and was told they are busy, and will ring when they get a chance.
Went in to the store today, 9th of April 2019 since I haven't heard from the store and the girl at the service desk was better than the previous guy who just has no customer service in him at all.
Over a month and still have no battery.
WILL NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPROVES.
So somebody told my dad to "drop the attitude" when he asked 2 employees for a return.solid guys. Will not be returning our business.
Big store, good layout and good variety of stock. Only bad this is staff kinda treat it as a holiday club. No greating on entrance of store let alone there were three staff having and good laugh and talk by counter right by entrance. At no point was I asked if I needed help with finding anything it's just a fend for your self situation. Went to purchase an item and had to wait while two members of staff finished there personal chat. Will take my money else where. Bye forever
Annoying, if you buy something from a total tools store, in order to return or exchange you must go back to the one you got it from. Major pain to try and return something!
Been waiting on cleaning blades for a jackhammer that i ordered for 2 months. Keep getting told 2 weeks Told they were coming from adelaide must be walking them over. Then Drove for a hour today to go there and pick up nisflik vaccum bags that i buy all the time off them, no stock. Was told they can order some in for me, as none were on order. I need them now!

The guy at counter (with hearing aid) was one of the most helpful people i have dealt with in a tool store, happy to be a return customer as long as i get to deal with him everytime

As someone interested in DIY but lacking the experience and/apprenticed skills, I was able to explain my TV cabinet ambitions (dove tails, seamless grain from top to sides etc) and received some time saving tips and also best order of work. Got some equipment I needed and was told what I didn’t actually need. Repeat business generator right there!
Probably the best hardware retail chain I've bought from. Clear layout with extensive range and knowledgeable staff.
