The Valley Pool

Good pool, has clean water and has good amenities. Sadly ground floor and grandstand are quite dirty. Canteen serves good, hot food.

Come here for casual swimming, but not for a day out.

The valley pool is clean, inviting, refreshing to say the least. Always perfect conditions here. Maintained to a high standard. 4 lanes 50m and 4 have a 25m barrier seperating (8x25m lanes). Plenty of space. Can get a little busy in the peak periods though. All round great place to swim.

The best thing in The Valley. The pool is refreshingly cool and a peaceful spot in the midst of inner city hustle and bustle. Facilities are clean despite being dated. This pool is a much better option for Fortitude Valley entertainment than the other notorious options nearby.

Excellent friends leaisure pool with wonderful children pool. Our Daughter is undertaking swimming lessons every weekend and this can be a great spot to practice. Friendly staffs and professional instructors makes this place at all times welcoming.

The pool you can become a human dolphin in! Offer everything from Squad training to gym equipment and fitness plans! I recently purchased a fresh set of goggles there and now I feel like a merman! A price to match too! Do you let the inner turtle in you out at this Olympic quality performance centre!

Could do with a bit of maintenance in the showers. Soap dispensers and taps sometimes broken.

Great pool (long and clean) with nice staff, the place to be in Brisbane on a hot sunday afternoon where there's no plan to go to the beach! The entrance costs a few dollars only, you can book a voucher if you are planning to go often.

Not a bad pond, in fact, a great pond or a delightful oasis in the middle of Fortitude Valley. Extra wide lanes (Olympic size) and with salt in the water, swims really nice

Nice popular spot, able to borrow pool equipment, friendly atmosphere. Would be nice to have some warning before toilets are closed for cleaning while bags are still in there, been locked out a few times now

Great pool handily located near public transport with really friendly staff and opening hours. My only regret is that I didn't make use of the pool sooner than I did!

Great pool and atmosphere. Kids played water polo finals and crowds was great. You can also get cold drinks and snacks good the kids.

Nice clean pool. No frills. No constant lifeguard. 2metre throughout. Fine for independently swimming children. Very much a swim then leave pool.

First public bathroom that I was happy to go into. Clean and smelled fantastic. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They had a great soundtrack for a chill Sunday afternoon.

I love this pool. As a lover of outdoor swimming all year around the Valley Pool is my favourite Brisbane pool when I'm visiting. It's clean, has choices of 25 and 50m lanes, the swimmers have great lane etiquette and the after swim coffee is excellent.
The staff are also always very friendly.

Quite popular with the locals young and young at heart. Small gym onsite too with inclusive pricing.
