T2 Tea Carindale

I spent $340 on 8 pieces of gift packs. Before leaving, I asked for 2 extra bags explaining to them I need to give the gifts to my different customers. The response from the lady in charge of the shop at that time was “I am not allowed to”. Without even a “sorry” in her word or a smile of embarrassment on her face, she appeared to be arrogant and confronting. She even seemed to be happy to accept my request for refund of the purchase. Although eventually she reluctantly gave me the 2 extra bags, she and the other male shop assistant remain staring at me on my way out. Every business has its own challenges at various times. Understanding that they might be short of stock of the bags however she didn’t seem to really understand which customer really needs a bag or not. If I used the gift packs for my own use, would I insist requesting the extra bags? If you don’t help me to use the gift packs to achieve what I wanted to, why would I do business with you? This was a scene of serious confrontation. An arrogant attitude helped change a return customer to a disappointed customer.

The staff absolutely know their stuff! I walked in an just asked for the strongest black tea they have; in one second the girl knew what to offer me, had a sample ready in 5 seconds to smell, an man: to she got it right

Why does it always take 15min to gift wrap even though there is planty of staff around. I cant help but to believe this is just an attempt to get you to buy more while you're hanging around waiting. Also I think the signage is placed in a way to trick customers like me into thinking items are cheaper. I know, I should read the sign rather then look only at the price. But I do think this practice jeopardises the integrity of the business. One good thing is tea cups make good gifts for girls. They cant get enough guys. Just be prepared to wait for the wrapping.

Staff are always helpful and provide great suggestions for combinations of tea to try. I always enjoy coming in to try the samples, it gives you great ideas for combinations you can create yourself.
